I think the show needs better dialogue, tighten up the storylines, and give Travis a few more acting lessons. Some of his line readings were laughable but that may have been the fault of some cringe-worthy dialogue like "I hunted for you." It was a bit unbelievable when he starts speaking perfect English after being mute since his capture.

Anyways, I have the presentation clip that was shown at the WB Upfronts. If anybody would like to see it, just PM me.

Everybody should check out Travis Fimmel's pic in the new Entertaintment Weekly double issue on their IT list. He's their It Man of Few Words. You'll see where the "treasure trail" ends. Saw a short blurb on E.T. about Travis. He'll be on the cover of next week's TV Guide. Travis also said that he came to the US from Down Under to become an actor and take acting classes. He just came upon modeling as a career and that having the job allowed him to get his visa.

Chad was going to be the Lone Ranger but it didn't pan out. They showed the pilot as a movie. Chad will be on a midseason show called "One Tree Hill".

I'm not sure if I want to watch this show. I grew up loving the story of Tarzan and his love for Jane. However, I've been reading the spoilers and I have to say the story looks lame. Travis's acting needs a lot of improvements. When I was watching the previews and he said "My name is Tarzan" and "I hunt for you"(well something like that), I was actually laughing my head off. That's sad. He's a main character. He has to carry the weight of the show. With his acting, I can't take it seriously. And if he doesn't talk a lot, something is wrong right there. He's a cutie, but it doesn't mean he is an actor.

David was good enough to let us see the pilot when he attended a con in London in May.
I didn't get to see much of it because my friends and I were busy talking to Nick Wechsler's friend and being bear hugged by Bill Sadler at the time [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] but what I did see looked very promising. [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]
