I would love that too. Ideally, I'd like 1) Kara to be single for a while without being broody about lost love, and 2) Brainy to become a series regular. They could fit it into the story: Someone has to make a record of all that lost Earth knowledge and bring it back to the future at some point. Brainy seems like the best choice. And besides, watching him acclimate to the 21st Century would be fun.

On a personal note: I was indifferent towards Mon-el/Kara in Season 2. I didn't like them nor dislike them. However, now that the show has introduced an adorkable version of Kara's canon BF, I don't think I'll be able to accept Kara/Mon-el reuniting in any romantic way going forward... but hey, at least I'm admitting my bias here .

My bias is there for the world to see. I hated Mon El s2. I liked him for one episode but then afterwards they took his character into a trajectory that was off putting. I think he's fine now. Seven years and a beard has made a world of difference.

Big yes to Brainy as a series regular! If Brainy/Kara had this whole arc of being friends and then slowly falling in love. It would be so cute especially because of Brainy's personality.

I don't want to see Karamel reunite but I'm so grateful he's not like he was in s2. So small favors and all that good stuff if they go that route.

I hope so. I still watch, but to me this show has become a mess. They hit all the wrong notes when they introduced Mon-El and now they want to fix it, but the situation with him being married and Imra's worst flaw being that she's kina boring makes it.... not better. I don't care if other shows have done this type of story. I never like stories that have women mooning over married men and wanting us to root for the marriage to fail so they can get back together. In what world is this still a good story to tell. Women are better than this. Kara should be worth more to the writers than this. Also James and Lena is a silly pairing. It's nice they want to use James more again, but he and Lena make 0 sense and it was rushed and unnecessary. I hope the break makes them rethink some of their writing.

I guess he needed Kara to inspire him. The point of her being Supergirl is like any hero she’s supposed to inspire hope in others to be their best selves. The way Superman inspired her.

When you think about it, isn’t everyone the way they are because of her and her cousin? Alex and Winn are both DEO agents because of her. James is Guardian. J’onn is head of the DEO because of the promise he made to Jeremiah. She’s touched the lives of all these people.

Lena wouldn’t even be head of L Corp if Clark hadn’t put Lex in prison.

The show is a mess. It's been a mess since switched networks. I hate storylines where a woman is fawning over a married man too.
