Ok.

We'll leave the thread open for the time being until we hear more concrete news.

Thanks.

It's just ridiculous.

We do not need to see Leno like that.

Southland - Keep Faith

Keep up the faith, "Southland" fans.

John Wells, executive producer of the recently canceled NBC drama, called actors on the show late last week to tell them he is in talks with two networks about the cop series finding a new home.

Wells reportedly didn't identify the networks, but TNT, corporate sibling of show producer Warner Bros. TV, has been interested in acquiring the series and is considered the most likely contender to pick it up.

Even if a deal is to be made to go to another network, there are indications that "Southland," whose production was shut down by NBC this month, won't resume filming anytime soon. The potential buyer would run the seven episodes from the first season and the six produced episodes from the second as a 13-episode freshman cycle.

*fingers crossed*

I can't wait for the Southland premiere! What can we expect in the first new episode? — Sara
ADAM:
The first new episode, which should air sometime in March, will very quickly resolve the Season 1 cliff-hanger. The good news: Russell (Tom Everett Scott) survives being shot. The bad news: He may be in pretty bad shape, forcing Lydia (Regina King) to work with a new partner. "What happens to him is pretty devastating," creator Ann Biderman tells me. "His role changes in a way that's surprising. Lydia will face the challenge of what it's like to work without him. It's a big part of the next episodes."

Southland - Upcoming Season 2 Info

Here some upcoming spoilers for Southland Season 2.

Here's a description of what some of the new episodes will cover. Don't read it if you're not caught up on "Southland" or don't want to know much about what's coming up.

The tables turn on the power struggle between Ben (Ben McKenzie) and John (Michael Cudlitz) when Ben must face a difficult choice in dealing with his partner's addiction to pain medicine. Ben is unable to escape his troubled Beverly Hills background and gets personally involved in a case on his first solo day on patrol. Following public humiliation by her partner, Chickie (Arija Bareikis) makes an effort to regain her confidence and footing in the field despite being ostracized by other cops.

After Russell (Tom Everett Scott) is shot, Lydia (Regina King) struggles with loyalty and the stress of balancing her personal life with the difficulty of her job. Nate (Kevin Alejandro) and Sammy join a drug task force with Nate's old friend Gil, but Sammy feels left out of their bond. On the personal front, Sammy (Shawn Hatosy) and his wife decide to have a baby. Nate and Mariella, who have just had another baby, must deal with Mercedes, Nate's oldest daughter who recently learned that Nate is her father, and his still angry and acting out because Nate wasn't honest with her about his past. Mercedes' behavior will eventually have devastating consequences. And Sal (Michael McGrady) also has trouble with his daughter who uses her knowledge of his affair to manipulate him.

Oh no about Nate's crisis!!

Eugh to Sammy and Tammy having a baby as she needs to go.

Can't wait to see about Ben and Michael's upcoming drama.

Don't care too much for Sal or Chickie.

Are they gonna pick up production of the series or just air the remaining episodes of season 2? Sorry, completely out of the loop.
