Skins Spoilers and Speculations

Spoilers So Far:

- There will be no shared episodes so two characters will not have an episode at all.

- Katie may get pregnant by Cook (unconfirmed)

- According to JB, episode 1 is centered around a character in a relationship with someone else and that person will feature a lot

- Opening scene of S4 has everyone there except Effy. Naomi/Emily seen kissing and a girl called Sophia throws herself off a balcony

- Cook is in a Bentley car with a baby on his lap, reason unknown

- Naomi/Emily are seen riding a moped together

- There is a house party with all the gang there, where Cook gets into a fight. There's also a doughnut eating competition with Thomas and or Pandora. A girl is seen coming on to Naomi. JJ says to Thomas "it's tough seeing your ex with someone else" talking about another character (believed to be Cook).

- Thomas gets "seduced" by a girl called Andrea

- Naomi/Emily have a serious scene at some point in a toilet

- Freddie/Effy, Cook and possibly Katie have scenes at a carnival

- Cook/Effy will be developed later in S4

- Kaya said she only kisses one guy all series

- The twins will not share an episode, so looks like they each have their own episode. John Bishop (Rob Fitch) tweets suggest Rob appears in more than one episode and that there are Fitch family arguments.

- JB said Katie's episode is funny and sweet and she will have a lot more to do in S4.

- Gordon Mcpherson (friend of James Fitch) will likely make an appearence

- Cook will have a lot to do in S4 and more of his family will appear. A BTS pic of his mother confirms she at least appears

- Thomas will have more to do in S4

- Tweets from cast and JB say: Effy and Katie share a scene in ep 4, JJ and Katie share a scene ep 7. Though it's unknown what they are about.

- Will Young will appear in an episode as the teacher Mr T Love

- We know that characters Ben, Candy, Sam and Lara will all appear at some point in S4.

- There was a casting call for black and mixed race extra's for a christian church scene. From a extras pic, it's believed to be to do with Thomas

Spoilers from JB on twitter:

- JJ will have a love interest.
- Emily will have tons to do in S4
- Naomi/Emily will have a sex scene.
- JJ will have the greatest character growth in S4, according to JB.
- Not everyone will be talking very early in the first episode.
- Plenty of nudity.
- JJ will continue to do magic.
- The best episodes according to JB will be 2, 5 and 7. But he said that all of them are awesome.
- The friendship between Katie and JJ will be explored.
- Naomi/Emily have loads of screentime together.
- Naomi/Emily will hug and more onscreen.
- Effy and Pandora have plenty of scenes together.
- Naomi and Katie will still banter, but won't be best friends.
- Cook shows different sides in S4.
- There's plenty of parties.
- Cook/Effy will have plenty going on, but no specific's given.
- Cook is friends with Naomi/Emily ala Cassie and Chris, but not best friends.
- There will be no trips out of the country for the characters, but that doesn't mean that they will not go elsewhere.
- We'll see Naomi's mother Gina again.
- Pandora's mother won't appear.
- There will be a scene for Emily being on the receiving end of sex.
- Pandora will be explored more.
- Some of the characters get into fights.
- Freddie will have a major plot that doesn't necessarily involve Effy.
- Naomi will have a scene with Rob Fitch.
- Naomi's sexuality may not be labeled in S4 apparently.
- The relationship between Tony and Effy will be mentioned.
- The role of the character "Lara", will be important.
- There are loads of new characters.
- The finale for the couples will be "interesting to say the least".
- JB said that we'll need a tissue for the finale.
- There may be a connecting character to Gen 3 in S4, but JB hasn't decided yet.

Sounds like a remote location, because Mike Bailey and Amy Burnett tweeted about fireworks in Bristol, so if she was in town she'd at least see them. Wonder what she's doing in the middle of nowhere though...

IDK, she could mean either. It may well supposed to be Bristol but they wouldn't have been able to film there because bonfire night in the UK sounds like a bomb factory. And they just wouldn't have been able to film there.

Cook will have stuff to do with her in later episodes at least. Kaya already confirmed that and so did those BTS pics. We just don't know how physical they will get if at all. But that triangle is not dead

Yeah I read that CE will have plenty to do with each other later in the series. Hopefully no bonking though, lol. I'd like to think that the triangle dies out in S4. All 3 characters deserve more than that storyline has to offer.

I would be very surprised if CE got nothing romantic in series 4... they have a really strong fanbase + Cook is in love with her. And I'm not buying Kaya's I-only-kiss-1-person thing. She probably just meant 1 person so far or something like that.

That said, that one CE scene from the picture - it takes place in Freddie's shed of all places. So Freddie can't be that far away... maybe he's even in the scene but not in the picture.

Kaya meant the first 4 epsidoes, she hadn't read past that when she made the comment.

I'm not sure Freddie is around, I wouldn't be surprised if they were alone in the shed and Freddie was else where. That triangle is alive and kicking in S4, you can tell

Thank god it only seems to be in the later episodes and were spared most of it in earlier episodes.

I get the feeling that Naomily and maybe T/P will be the couple focus in the first half, and then they break up and it shifts back to the triangle while the others have their angsty singledom and then get reunited in the finale. And the fate of the triangle is finally decided in the finale, once and for all. Don't know if CE will sleep together but the emotional side will still be in play.

Even if Freddie isn't there, he has to be nearby. Like, does he know that they are in his shed? What if he were to just walk in? Maybe he's gone away for a weekend or something and CE just decided to go to his house

Yeah well she did say the whole only kiss one person thing when they were halfway through filming the series, so she wouldn't of known what the rest of the series had in store.

Effy hardly seems like the monogamous type so there will probs be a CE hook up along the way.
Who do you want her to be with in the end? Freddie I'm guessing, lol.

If she ends with someone then I lean very slightly more towards Freddie, but I'm not a hardcore shipper for Freffy or CE and am fine with both tbh. When it comes to Effy I'm more of a neutral shipper and like talking about both pairings, each have pluses and minus's, though I do hate the triangle. But I have a feeling with her character arc she's more likely to end single.

Single is what I'm hoping. She just seems like the single type, IDK. But yeah I don't really ship either of them, but Effy is one of my fav characters, but that's only really due to the Gen 1 association.

JB said he wasn't sure whether we'd get a character in S4 that linked to S5 gen of characters. Surely it's too late for him to add one in even if he decides he wants to. I'd like to see a link though... loved the ending of S2 with Effy's little smirk

But if she doesn't end with Freddie, I will be happy with s4 as long as it makes sense in relation to series 3 and there is a good reason for it. And as long as Effy has grown as a character and isn't still this "why bother caring about people" girl who runs away and conceals her emotions anymore. I have no problem with the ending of any ships from series 2. JMHO

No I think he meant he hadn't thought of the Gen 3 characters yet so when he does he will have the option of using a younger character that pops up in S4.

If they aren't sure there is a Gen 3 yet being commissioned by E4 (and their not), then they can't end the finale on a connecting character. So I'm curious to see how they end S4, I'm hoping for some kind of group shoot as I think that would be fairer.

True... no point setting up Gen 3 if they haven't confirmed a S5.
Well we'll need tissues for the ending apparently, the question is whether it's tears of sadness or tears of 'awwwwwwww'. I'm hoping for a big cheesey 'awwwww' moment with all the gang, although with it being skins it seems unlikely.
