If Karen gets her own episdoe, and JJ and Thomas have to share theirs, that is so stupid. And I wonder if Emily and Katie will get their own, of if they'll be together again. I wouldn't mind that, Emily was featured heavily in most of the other episodes, except, like Freddie's and Effy's, so she didn't need her own. Poor Katie could have used her own episode though.

The only reason I can think of Karen getting her own episode would be because she will lead the next series (she is younger than Freddie right?) and be the bridge between S4&5 as Effy was for 2&3.

I always assumed she was older than Freddie. Her best friend was getting married to Johnny White's daughter in Cooks episode, Karen told Freddy and the gang that they couldn't come in cause they were to young or something if I remember correctly.

And they did a great job of adapting QAF, so as long as HBO or Showtime get the show, im sure that it will turn out great.

I agree with that statement but I still am in two minds. If they did do it on HBO or Showtime then it'd be great probably regardless, QAF was a fantastic adaptation, and most of thier original programming is great also, but if they tried to push it on a network like The N then it'll suck. However this is my bias as a dedicated Degrassi viewer, god knows look at how they butchered that series over the years. Same with the Cw, I just can't picture it being on those stations. However I think either way it'll be great, as long as it's not like 90210 or any of the other lame generic wannabe soaps we have over here.

A Skins movie and novel? I'm also a little bit edgy about. I dunno Skins is awesome, but a long movie, depending on the plotline for me could go either way. I'm excited and anxious. I also heard they were doing a novel.

P.S. If anyone gets any news of casting auditions for the US version, can they please PM me ASAP or post them. Aspiring Actor and I'd love to star in anything Skins related.

I still would love for Karen to get an episode...they should try to integrate her into the cast more because she's hilarious! My thought when they brought up past Cook/Karen was revisiting that (even as nothing serious) because it would affect Freffy and give Karen a bigger role.

Funny, but not enough to warrent her own episode or be a main character, IMO.
