| true, they were so different and maybe because of the premises of each generation they wanted to cast accordingly, but there were points in three i saw so much potential and with the oddest parings too... like naomi/freddie, but strictly as friends... i mean, i think they were so worried about that stupid triangle they didn't really offer any other ship a chance to take form, but it's not like they couldn't have tried harder to build upon forming those bonds... instead they put the whole group together, like that wasn't contrived as hell, and waited for all the angst to unfold with one look or comment, wtf! but maybe they'll finally get it right in four cause skins used to be a really great show and it can be again... the new cast isn't totally hopeless, i don't think  __________________ testing me | |||

| The focus was mainly on the couples and not on friendships or family. The main focus was on the triangle [which I hated ] and Naomi/Emily. Katie/Freddie was doomed from the beginning because of the triangle, Emily/JJ was doomed because of N/E. For season 4 I want some more character development, more individual story lines, more friendship. It should be more balanced.__________________ | |||

| i agree with all of that... especially the character development... only, i hate about half of them so i'd rather some get more attention, but that wouldn't be very fair __________________ testing me | |||

| I personally love JJ and Emily, everyone else at one point or another seemed intolerable, but they somehow never did to me. Maybe it's because I'm gay too but I preferred their storylines over the love triangle/hexagon/octagon that the writers set up. I'm kinda in between on Skins. I liked this series, but the other 2 were pretty great and they had fundamental issues like pregnancy and a death even. I've heard some things about Series 4, not confirmed but I heard: That JJ may be bisexual, (which I can see happening honestly, maybe it's more him dipping into discovering his sexuality or something, either way I have my fingers crossed, I kinda want Emily and him to turn out gay, we're already halfway there.) Karen might get her own episode, (ehh..it mostly depends on what, she was kinda pointless, but I wouldn't mind watching if she weren't a total nuisance.) Lots of characters from previous seasons would eventually appear, (I'm hoping, I've watched series 3 tons of times and still haven't even noticed one character appearance) Thomas and JJ might get their episode together, (interesting?) Also there'd be more focus of Thomas and his homelife possibly? Either way I'm excited, I hope for more character development also, especially with Katie and Thomas, Pandora and Katie, hell all of them could use a little more. And new lesbian might come between Pandora and Emily, (I hope not, they're all to adorable) Of course this is all speculation, I kinda hope some of it happens, either way I'm excited for Series 4, (Does anyone know if Series 5 has been confirmed yet, even though they haven't finished up series 4, I've heard that they already were planning a 5th with new characters.) | |||

| It sucks that no orig charecters will be returning for S4 but I cant help but think that they are just saving it for the Skins movie to reunite both casts. And they did a great job of adapting QAF, so as long as HBO or Showtime get the show, im sure that it will turn out great. | |||
