It seems like they're dragging the brother and sister thing out according to TV Line, I wonder why Jocelyn just doesn't tell Clary that they aren't related.

I understand it them playing the storyline out a bit further to keep the tension but not from a storyline point of view. Unless Jocelyn believes that Jace is actually her son or she lies to Clary to keep her from getting in a relationship with him.

I don't think they will drag it out for too long, but I doubt it's going to be resolved straight away either

Guess we will find out about how Jocelyn handles it in 8 months

Is that a good thing? I was one of the few that actually enjoyed season one. I do hope it means we get more Magnus and him interacting with the gang more I want them to show his powers off more. Magnus is incredibly powerful and it's something I want explored more

ETA: I also want them to expand on how unique and powerful Clary is
