Basically. That's what I've said before, she went home with him and he left, told her to go somewhere else. I still fail to see how that means Liv picked Fitz, she didn't lmao. Just like for the 67th time, when Fitz was mad at his wife he went running to side chick to get some. Two seconds in a promo doesn't show you what the whole season outline will be. Jake and Mellie aren't being paired. She will always be Fitz's wife and SR said before Jake and Liv aren't done but some people have literally forgotten everything cause of the new crumbs in the promos (which have either been manipulation to reel people in or lies) Jake's not obsessed with Liv, many times he has kept his distance from her and she is the one always coming back (and I guarantee that will happen again this season when her and Fitz don't work out once again zzz) It's been shown Fitz is the epitome of being obsessed with Liv IE wanting to kill Jake cause Liv is with him, having her followed whether it's by video cameras or pictures (even looking at pics of her in bed with Edison) always calling her when he is pmsing over something, blackmailing her to come to the WH, or just showing up at her house whenever he sees fit, leaking her name to get her to come back after she left (I hope that is what Jake finds out or someone. That is something Liv needs to know. Fitz almost ruined Liv's name, reputation, and career in another controlling tactic to get her back. That is one of the main reasons I don't see how they can be public this season or ever) etc. One of the many reasons their such a toxic gas chamber of a couple. Fitz has lied to Liv so many times (still many lies between them, still my bet that is what will bust them up this time) and still has yet to tell her about the name leak. He will never tell her so someone else will have to if she ever finds out. I'm not worried about Jake, people have thought the worst about him dying since S2. Jake's mission could mean anything but I'm 100% sure it won't result in a death or whatever and Jake has been someone that finds answers on the show like when he found out Rowan killed Jerry and Harrison.

I don't need Mellie and Jake paired romantically. I was referring to them just teaming up. I don't care about the romance in this show. The only ones I ever really liked were Abby/Leo and Mellie/Andrew.

But I agree with Shonda never letting Mellie be free of Fitz and its frustrating cause she's become my favorite character.
