This is the episode when Nick St Clair comes back. So he's the one from Veronica's past that comes back seeking revenge.

Marisol Nichols (Hermione): “We’re going to get a lot of our questions answered that have built up over the season… I would say it’s very much a throwback to any gang war, and I’m excited for people to see that.”

According to Lili Reinhart, the central mystery of the season will be wrapped up in the penultimate episode, with the finale launching the show in a new direction, much like Riverdale did last season. And keeping in that vein, there will be another big cliffhanger. “What happens at the end of season 2 is tragic, but almost perceivable,” KJ Apa says. “You can see it coming a little bit.” As for who may be at the center of said tragedy, Cole Sprouse adds of the finale, “It’s utilizing a lot of hidden turns in the earlier episodes that a lot of people might’ve overlooked, and setting up a narrative that we didn’t realize was actually a chess game one of our characters was losing tremendously the whole time.”

It would be tragic for Archie. You would see it coming seeing that he's had this vendetta all season. It would also be surprising because you wouldnt expect Archie to be a killer. Cami did say she was worried for Archie's fate? And cole talked about it being one character. KJ too?

Though, the chess game talk and hidden turns makes me think maybe Betty has something to do with it because shes been sort of going in and out of her "dark betty" stuff occasionally.

It would be tragic, but I wouldn't be surprised. Wasn't he prepared to do it early in the season? Even if it was reckless.
