Maybe "Dark Archie" will make the character more interesting, because nothing else has.
Heck, even Veronica couldn't make him interesting - if anything, she somehow became less interesting.

I don't want dark Archie. I think he needs to remain the "golden boy" to contrast Jug. Maybe getting into more of the plot and mystery, especially now with his dad being injured, but I think Archie needs to stay the "All-American Hero" of the gang.
