It's sad about Daniel, but it made sense that it was him. Victoria seems to destroy all things around her in her hatred for Emily and want for David.

The problem is what the writers are doing about it, they're dumping in 2 more characters into the mix. Emily/Victoria are still at a stand still until the series actually ends, Jack is continually sidelined, and Nolan is just there until he's used as a plot point for whatever reason. This on top of the other side characters we still have in this series: Louise, Margeaux, Ben, etc.

I always liked Daniel too and him becoming evil in s3 and Aiden's death were the reasons I dumped the show

I read an interview and the showrunner wouldn't say either way if it was the last season. Sounds like he's waiting to see what the network thinks I also read EVC thought last season should have been their final.

I know, it's just not that interesting with Conrad and now Daniel gone, they've eliminated interesting dynamics and Victoria is pretty much neutered at this point. I just can't take her seriously anymore and Idc about the new villain/characters they've put in.

I've always hated the sudden turn into an ott evil villain, it just never worked and it was never believable to me.
