I wish they didn't completely squash the ENTIRE Mash relationship. This is TV, people who used to be together are friends all the time. And I loved when they teamed up.
IMO, it's bad writing on top of it! All my favorite authors usually say stuff along the lines of "everyone's interpretation of the story is totally okay with me, I love when people get more out of my writing". I mean, it's the CW and TV, so I shouldn't have been expecting anything, but the only time I've seen an author I love squash their readers' dreams was by saying, "No, really. That was the last book in the series. We're not doing more." It's like it can't keep it's attention. It has story lines it just ditches or that will disappear for weeks with NO hints at.... "That part of the show has shifted". The ENTIRE show has shifted! Maybe they are trying to make everything come together at the end, but it is really disjointed. They are bad at connecting their story lines. Why do I love this show again? I am obsessed and yet so much irritates me. __________________

What's bad writing about squashing a triangle? Some of them go on for much too long. Mary only went to Bash when she couldn't have Francis so now that she has Francis, they can all move on. Now Bash can have a mutual relationship instead of dying due to adultery or pining for a girl whose heart lies somewhere else.
Many shows last past a first season triangle. If nothing evolved, it would get boring. __________________

I don't mean that squashing the love triangle is bad writing, I mean that the show just drops story lines.
Maybe I should just stop watching. It's too frustrating. :/ What I legit do NOT understand: How is Catherine not dead? Did I miss the part where she was pardoned? I thought it was just for the wedding. Where is Diane? She had this great quote about making sure Bash was "remembered" and I guess he wasn't legitimized? Did they say what she is doing? __________________

They don't need a triangle. Everything is completely crazy town without it.
 And Bash wants to go home to Kenna. Awww.  I hope Remy comes back.... that's assuming Lola survives the finale, which I'm not entirely sure she will. |

After this episode I'm even more sure that Lola survives the finale.
They left the door open for Remy/Julien to come back next season. That's sad because the did genuinely fell in love at the end. __________________
