So true. It makes no sense to do a twin story with the main girls. Except it would allow them to have one of the actresses do a duel role. Assuming the twin isn't fraternal. Like on soaps. They have a good twin, bad twin storyline...

If it's not the DiLaurentis's. And the Charlotte already messes with that logic.

I could see it with the Hastings. Another messed up family. But if the twin say was stolen as a infant. While Veronica and Peter have been good to Melissa. But they have always been very protective of Spencer. Now Spencer has done stuff that has given the Hastings need to worry.

But if they had lost a child early, and Spencer was the one who was raised...

Any other girl, I can't see it.

They sorta had to do it with the girls going older in the next chapter of the show. Agreed, the old opening became redundant after Ali came back alive. Although once she did, it sorta represented the constant death, and secrets of the girls.

They are going completely reboot for the next chapter. So doing a new opening is something they had to do.

Exactly. I'm looking forward to the new one. I remember the people who thought Aria being the only one to do that shhh sign meant she was A, lol. We have no confirmation or even a hint that they're with other people like we have with Aria/Ezra and Caleb/Hanna. We know Toby and Emily have a scene together so he's in Rosewood for a reason. Toby wouldn't be around if he wasn't still closely connected to Spencer. He generally wants nothing to do with his family so he'd never stick around there without a reason. He's there for Spencer, or else he'd be away from that town. They could be together but he's away while she comes back initially. It's possible they are both single and reunite when they see each other again and it happens super quickly.

But I bet they survived it. I hope so!
