ADDISON DISCOVERS THAT NAOMI IS CONCEALING THE FINANCIAL WOES OF OCEANSIDE WELLNESS

At Oceanside Wellness, friendships are tested and secrets revealed when Addison discovers that Naomi is concealing the practice's financial problems. Meanwhile, Violet wonders what secret Cooper is keeping from her, while Cooper himself has to decide whether or not to reveal a medical secret to a patient, on the season premiere of "Private Practice," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 1 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

Guest starring are David Sutcliffe as Kevin, Amy Acker as Molly, Cheryl White as Robin, Blake Robbins as Mark and Tyler Patrick Jones as Dean.

Written by Shonda Rhimes and Marti Noxon and directed by Mark Tinker.

2x02 - Equal & Opposite

ADDISON AND SAM STAGE A COUP IN ORDER TO BRING THE PRACTICE OUT OF BANKRUPTCY

Addison and Sam form a hostile takeover in order to bring the practice out of bankruptcy, as all of the doctors look for additional clients and new income streams, while Violet's friendship with Cooper is on the brink of extinction and a married couple fight for an unethical fertility treatment at Oceanside Wellness, on "Private Practice,"
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

Guest starring Tom Amandes as Charlie, Fran Kranz as Brian, Zoe Perry as Lisa, Kimberly Kevon Williams as Jodie and Ian Nelson as Kirk.

Practice picks up about 20 minutes after, dealing with questions of whether Violet will be saved, whether her baby will survive and how colleague Pete (Tim Daly), who loves Violet, will handle the fear of losing her. Early in the season, Practice and Grey's Anatomywill cross over again, with Bailey (Chandra Wilson) of Grey's coming to Practice with a woman who needs a transplant from her sister. "She ends up butting heads with Sam (Taye Diggs)," says creator Shonda Rhimes, a big fan of transplant stories. Also this season, "Addison (Kate Walsh) is going to be painfully and comically celibate for a while," and the Oceanside Wellness shake-up continues after Naomi (Audra McDonald), who once led the practice, joined rival Pacific Wellcare.

We've seen the Private Practice season premiere, and it's actually excellent. Addison isn't the spotlight character, but when she does come onscreen, she positively shines. Kate Walsh is an amazing actress. The premiere is based around a Pete-centric flashback that shows how he joined the practice and got to know all of the characters, particularly Violet. By the end of the episode, you very well might cry.

Thanks for the news. Nice to see Kate being singled out for praise. She is an amazing actress I totally agree. I can't wait to know about the big love story Shonda has planned for her this season

Someone that has seen the premiere posted on the ABC board that there is a brilliant scene between Addison and Naomi that I am looking forward to seeing. I love both Kate and Audra together.

Went in with low expectations and came out quite shocked that I liked it. The first half i slow but by about 20 mins it it turns AMAZING. By the end I was almost crying. Kick a** Addison is back and is taking names, there is one scene in particular with Addison and Naomi that had me...there are no words to describe the awesomeness. Kate knocked that one out of the park! Oh and there are flashbacks, but how they flashback it is a bit like Private Practice on speed. That was weird.

I will end by saying that I can now truly say that Tim Daly cannot act, not when he has to be all breaking down etc. Him and Paul Adelstein need to go to some acting work shops. Bad bad acting.
