Hi everyone. Last year, a decision was made to no longer allow any discussion or speculation on the Main One Tree Hill Spoiler Thread. That decision was made because the One Tree Hill fan base is very polarized, and the Main One Tree Hill Spoiler Thread became the site of many arguments between the various shipper groups, and to avoid those arguments, we now only allow discussion and speculation to take place on individual One Tree Hill Spoiler Threads for the show’s three main shipper groups.

Unfortunately, recent events have shown that the One Tree Hill fan base is still very polarized, and when a fan from one shipper group posts in the Spoiler thread that’s devoted to another shipper group, arguments often break out in the same way they did on the Main One Tree Hill Spoiler Thread. The result is that the moderators have to step in and issue warnings, which invariably lead to accusations from every One Tree Hill shipper group that the moderators are “biased” against them - which, I might add, is completely untrue. All of this causes the atmosphere in the threads to become very tense, and the spirit of fun and camaraderie that should exist in these threads gets ruined.

Therefore, after discussing this situation with the Spoilers board moderators, we’re making the following request:

If you don’t ship a particular One Tree Hill couple, or you’re not a fan of a certain character, don’t post in the thread for that couple or character.

I’d also like to add that each One Tree Hill Shipper Spoilers Thread should be used to celebrate your love for the couple that the thread is devoted to, and to discuss spoilers that are relevant to that couple and/or the individual characters in that couple. These threads should not be used to bash the “other couple” or the characters you don’t like.

We want each One Tree Hill Shipper Spoilers Threads to be a place where you can discuss spoilers for your favorite characters and couples in a peaceful and fun atmosphere with your fellow shippers. Please follow the above request to ensure that happens. Thanks!
