Wow, this one sounds fascinating. Wish I paid attention sooner. The actors are top notch and the story seems very interesting. Wonder what the ratings are for this show? I've not seen nor heard about it except for this spoiler board. Now, I'm interested....yikes another show!

Yes, season 1 - 8 episodes, season 2 - 10 episodes.

You don't cast Billie Piper just to have her die, I'm pretty sure they found something to make her somehow live.

As much as I love Eva, I'm starting to get bored of Vanessa story and her being possesed all the time.

I know what you're saying. After last weeks "all Vanessa" timeline, this week I tuned in and said "ugh, more Vanessa?". So I didn't end up watching all of last episode, will go back sometime this week.

My interest in the show is in having different characters and different stories. Eva Green is good, but it's a stellar cast too. And I'm always on board for more Billie Piper/Josh Hartnett.

Maybe they need to take a cue from Orange is the New Black. They are able to tell back stories of characters while still keeping you involved in the overall story. And they have a HUGE cast of characters.

I mean, I think that Eva is doing an amazing job, she nailed the posessed scene in 1X02 but lately it feels like it's all about her. Everything about the show is turning to be all about Vanessa, even the reason Mina got taken and why the monster is after her. Give me a break!

What I loved about the show was that it was supposed to focus on every characters, evey one of them had a story to tell us and right now some aren't even giving the amount of screentime they deserve.

They should call it "Vanessa Dreadful".

Haha, I wouldn't go as far as that

Anyway, I do agree that some other characters should have more screentime, but this is the first season, maybe it's the type of show where each season will mostly focus on 1 character while giving smaller storylines to other characters too?
