I think a lot of it is more they don't want Neal to be Bea. That's kinda what I've seen on tumblr at least.

They said quite a while ago that we would meet Henry's father without knowing we met him. I think that was the huge tip off for it being Bae. Who else did we meet who could exit SB? Henry, August, and Bae.

Exactly! I still think a lot of viewers who don't follow spoilers and what the producers say haven't guessed yet, but to us it's painfully obvious. I think the producers even confirmed that we met Henry's father by the end of season 1. Since we can assume that Emma can identify men she has slept with, then it couldn't be anyone who appeared in a scene with her yet so yeah...Bae.
