I guess since we aren't 100% sure who cast the curse or what elements got added by whom, it's hard to figure out why they went back in time. I do wonder why Emma and Hook waited so long to have a baby. We will probably never know if they had problems conceiving. Why can’t the characters just go tell their SB counterparts the dangers of casting the curse or warn them about Drizella poisoning someone's heart?
If Robin was 3 or 4 when Henry left SB, then 6 years passed before Regina found Henry and they were reunited, then 10 years in HH, Robin could be around 20 or 21.

Cause if they're going back in time then yes there's two versions of Regina, Rumple, etc. This just sounds dumb TBH

I guess keep it simple stupid isn't a motto Adam and Eddy go by. I wonder if by the end of the season s7 will be erased. Because they're can't be two versions of the same character running around. The timeline must be corrected. There's 2 Zelenas, Reginas, Rumples, and Henrys. That has to be corrected.

I think they thought of the time travel last minute lol at least the writers. I think 'cs had fertility problems with the whole second chance discussion in the opening of 7.02.

Are we sure it's time travel? Because the costume department has been known to recycle costumes and re-purpose them for different characters.

It's the only way to explain Adam saying that HH's takes place in 2017 and then say the scenes with Henry in 7x01 take place way after 2017.

Excuse me to you all, but saying "all but confirms" means all except. Which means this time time travel theory you brought up is not really true and unconfirmed. I checked the meaning of the phrase "all but".

I agree about the costumes, especially Henry wearing vintage Charming. It's more about Adam saying Henry leaving SB took place in the future.
