I am back to my theory that the adults in Henry's book do not age because their stories are complete.

No idea. Maybe the kids stop as adults too when they get their happy endings. But there has to he a reason Hook and Regina do not age for 20 years. Rumple never ages anyway.

According to Giles at least. He tends to be enthusiastic, in my experience. May the corker is that he aged and no one else has?

Maybe it has to do with him spending time in the Dark Realm as a child? I'm just glad to have him back.

I hadn't seen this. I wonder if Rogers is looking for his mother? It's not Emma, which makes sense because she isn't going to be a big, onscreen part of the story.

“It’s a missing case,” Kitsis told TV Guide about Hook’s Season 7 search. “And it is not Emma. It’s a brand-new story.”

It makes sense that Hook will be handling a missing case, given that he’ll be a uniformed police officer in the little hamlet of Hyperion Heights under this new curse. But who, or what, could he be looking for?

As I posted above, I think it will turn out to be his mother. It could be his child, but I think they would have said a missing child. I think it is someone who is considered an adult. He isn't looking for Emma, because Emma isn't a part of the story this season. I'm glad he is getting his own story. I think the primary role of Hook, Rumple and Regina will be to support Henry's story, but they need stories of their own as well.

Still doesn't make any amount of sense why Hook would not even feel a sense of loss being separated from his true love. Charming and Snow felt it. True love always lingers, well clearly not cause Hook doesn't even sense Emma.

The mother does make sense though and they clearly had plans to bring her back as early as S6.
