Thanks for the spoiler updates.
Considering Regina didn't have much else in the finale of s6, I thought the door scene with the dwarves was a nice gesture to show how her redemption and perseverance earned her the acceptance she craved. She was no longer the Evil Queen, but rather, Regina Mills - Queen.
And I agree that Snow wasn't preoccupied with being Queen, nor with royal titles for that matter. I think she found her passion with teaching and her family life and no longer carried the burden on her shoulders of worrying about Regina being mayor to seek revenge.
