Alternate Hook would be a new character with a different actor. A temporary curse that separates Hook and Emma is no more a threat to their Happy Ending than the 28 year curse was to Snowing's.

Yeah the amazing thing with that is snowing was on the show so this is completely different . Anyways I think my theory is likely as Bobby even suggested that was the case.
Enchanted Forest 2 versions of Hook, Rumple, and Regina. That is whom the returning cast is playing.
Alternate Hook doesn't have to be a new actor. In fact it would make sense of its the same one. They can come up with some BS reason as to why. I'm just saying with this new EF why are j discounting the possibility that the 3 returning are not playing our versions of hook Regina and rumple but the EF 2 versions?
This method allows them to make that statement about how you don't need to watch the last 6 seasons to understand s7 you can just jump right in.
