Maybe it's just Emma. Like maybe she hits her head or something.

All I know is I would like one more season but things like different show make me nervous.

Castle ruined my trust. Not that I actually thought their idea of a new show would be good, their show runners had proven they did not want what fans wanted.

I think she was just saying that because she hasn't professionally sung but she can sing.

Yeah, she has a really nice voice! I don't think they would want to center a musical episode around someone who has limited experience tho.

None of them are professional singers, they are actors by profession. If this really has been in the works for awhile the actors have known they would have to sing. Those who are less comfortable could easily take voice lessons.

I'm not sure what you mean by that but being a musical theater actor makes you an actor and a singer by profession ... being a singer in a band makes you a singer and musician by profession... when you sing in a movie they hire you because you can actually sing. There are plenty of actors that sing and singers that act.

I'm sure the writers wouldn't pitch this idea and say "yeah, we're going to have the episode revolve around this one character ... no, the actor has never sang on screen before but they're taking voice lessons so we'll just cross our fingers!"

I think if there are going to be characters that are asked to take on some tough musical songs they would want to be sure in advance that it's in the hands of actors that are experienced and comfortable as musicians...

But I'm sure everyone will have their moment to shine and it will be mostly an ensemble effort.

Musical episode? We will see. It can be a hit or a miss.

Unless she is completely tone deaf, you can find ways around it. For example, Alison Hannigan couldn't sing, in BTVS, so she didn't get a solo. She got chorus, and some verses on the full cast main song.

So Katmtan is saying someone told her they were planning a musical episode which goes with what Matt's saying. So my guesses on what we know and the statement that all the narrative arcs will be wrapped up.

6.16 Gideon/Rumbelle/Dark Fairy
6.17 Snowing curse/intro Tiger Lily
6.18 CS adventure/Tiger Lily
6.19 Regina/EQ/Zelena or Aladdin/Jasmine??
6.20 The musical ? Or resolving what wasn't done in 19
6.21-6.22 The musical? Or the setup to next season?

We still have to wrap up Gideon/Dark Fairy, Snowing curse, Agrabbah, the Savior arc, the Spilt Queen arc, and have the CS adventure. That's a lot to squeeze into 5 episodes, 4 if the musical is one, unless EQ is resolved in 14 and Agrabbah in 15.
