I really enjoyed the finale - especially the introduction of Jekyll and Hyde. Interesting pair of actors - and the Steampunk land was very cool too. Would like to see more of it.
Also liked the scene between Regina and Emma, where R. opens up, showing regret and sorrow over her life choices. Although how Snow and Emma could think giving a strange formula to Regina was a good idea is mind boggling. It worked on Jekyll / Hyde - but could have been deadly for Regina. That said, it was a great scene when she confronted and "killed" her evil half. Personally - I wish the writers had kept the Evil Queen dead and gone. But that's just my view. Anyway, it would have been enjoyable to just see Regina as her redeemed self and the others fighting against Hyde minus more EQ melodrama. Was very pleased to see the return of The Dragon (love this character), but am now wondering if the poor man has been dispatched by EQ - or will she try to control him for her own nefarious purposes? Hoping we will see more of The Dragon next season, and that he'll be okay. I also like the idea of other realms and literary characters to come, and am hopeful that we'll see some cool characters such as Dracula, The Mummy, Captain Nemo, etc. Would love that, especially as I am a big fan of gothic / horror and SF / Steampunk. Lol'd at Henry being able to steal the chalice in the library, with no one the wiser. And such an empty reading room too. That said, I thought Henry and Violet were adorable together, and am glad the writers are keeping her and her literary character dad in SB. That was cute that he was the classic Mark Twain character. Of course - my most favorite scene was Emma finally telling Killian she loves him - just because. So sweet and romantic. I do feel that the wedding dress in the store window was a lovely little foreshadowing of things to come for my favorite couple. Great scenes too with Rumple and the others. Wondering where he's off to - what exactly did Hyde trade him for Storybrooke? It should be fascinating to see how Rumple finally retrieves and wakes Belle from the box. Back to Hyde - Surely three magical ladies (Regina, Emma, and Zelena) would be more than enough against Hyde - but perhaps those "others" he's brought with him, will be very powerful? Looking forward to S6, and what it will bring! __________________

I thought it was a good episode.
I am very interested in who these people Hyde brought with him were. I love all these fictional characters so it could be very interesting. Rumple was not being selfish and looking out for himself so I don't know what the show was talking about here and honestly don't even know what the other characters were talking about. Snow even said (blabbermouth, lol) that he was doing this to save the woman he loves. I am very disappointed that literally no one but Rumple cares about Belle. I think Hyde could be an interesting villain. And I am going to take semi-credit for getting the ending almost right. I said it would end with the EQ looking back at Regina in the mirror. I was wrong about the mirror but right about the last scene being the EQ. I don't think they did post-season interviews last season either, did they? It's disappointing though. Kind of confused about whether Rumple has Belle with him though or if Hyde still has her and once Rumple gets the information he needs to wake her he'll come back to SB. Or did Hyde send him off a wild goose chase? |

I know how much you like Belle. So I'm sorry she couldn't be in this finale, due to Emilie's pregnancy.

I honestly had no problem with it because I understood. I'm so happy for Emilie and really didn't expect her to be in the last few episodes at all. I actually have thought all along having her in the box was really a clever way to write her out on maternity leave. So she was there and yet not there, LOL. So I was fine with it. |

Maybe next season. Of course even after she wakes up it will take 9 months for the Rumbaba to come.

Plus I had the adorableness of Rumple having her in a box on a blanket or his coat maybe in the front seat all the way to NY. I'm surprised he didn't put a seat belt around her.
I wonder if they're kind of doing something kind of Penny Dreadful like with characters from the Jekyll/Hyde era? |

Penny Dreadful is good. Well, I've seen the first season so far. And I love the characters. It is very graphic however. I wasn't quite prepared for that. |

Penny Dreadful is way too graphic for me. I had to stop after the first season even though the plot was good and the characters interesting.
Jekyll and Hyde is one of my favorite musicals. Loved the book too. I just love Steampunk so I wouldn't mind more time spent with that genre. |

I'm happy for the hiatus. This season has been so intense. It'll be nice to take a break.
