What I find most interesting about Merida is that she is the first character I can think of not directly based off a legend, well known public domain story, or a Disney Animation film, since Brave was technically a Pixar film.

I wouldn't be surprised if A&E first thought of introducing Rumple's mother as part of his story this season and then as they were thinking more about her character they decided it would be an opportunity to introduce an already known Disney character.

Whoa...well so much for all that speculation. Shocking though that they essentially lied and said the casting was for Rumple's mom when it was really for Merida. They should have just not said anything...
Lol, well "sigh of relief" for some. Some of us are really disappointed that Rumple's mom won't be part of his story this season since we were looking forward to it for several weeks. |
