So Brooke, Lindsey, Mia and Carrie shooting pool together maybe? LOL. That's an odd combo. I wonder in what episode this scene would go into?

I saw the pictures too. I like never use facebook, but I had to see the lovely pictures. I also noticed Sophia was there...so I assume Brooke's in the scene as well. I couldn't see any other cast members but Sophia, Michaela, Kate, and Torrey and maybe Lisa (Millicent). Paul was directing. So, I assume this is from episode 8.

Perhaps Sophia said it wasn't cliffhanger-ish because Brooke's scenes in the episode aren't, while NH have the Jamie thing and the whole LP/LL thing.

I think Lucas really loves Lindsey, he proposed to her, he wants to marry her, she's the one leaving the wedding, even the NL scene shows that Luke cares a lot about Lindsey

And I'm not saying he doesn't love her. I'm saying he has strong feelings for another woman and the fact that he loves her doesn't mean he should be marrying her. To me it's pretty clear he has stronger feelings for Peyton and the fact that he's marrying Lindsey doesn't change this. Like I said, yes, he chose to marry her but it doesn't mean it's the right choice.

ETA: Who is to say Dan didn't love Deb? I think in some level he did. But he'd never be fully happy with her cause there was another girl he had stronger feelings for. Of course he didn't have to make his family's life miserable like he did but that's another story. LOL

the same could be said about LP. if Lucas definitely loses Lindsey because of a moment of confusion he had with Peyton back in town, and then he gets back with Peyton, are we sure that's the best thing for him? maybe he will regret it for the rest of his life, like Dan regretted to be with Deb instead of Karen

it's just a matter of opinion. Lucas will probably be with Peyton in the end, but this doesn't mean it has to be the best thing for him.

And I agree with you. Some can say the same about LP. Not me cause to me it's clear they're each others true love.

The point in my posts is Lucas marrying Lindsey(or almost) doesn not mean he's not confused about his feelings for her, or that his feelings for her are stronger than his feelings for Peyton(or anyone for that matter). He can very well be making the biggest mistake of his life and regret it forever.

I'm really hoping for an L/L end. I just see marriage as the ultimate commitment and declaration of your love. The fact that he stood at an altar with this woman and actually says 'I do' makes it the most real for me. If he chooses Peyton after he's left at the altar and chases after Linsday, that makes Peyton his second choice in my eyes. He had every opportunity to choose her. It's not like he was clueless and didn't make a conscious choice. It's not like he's considering it but thinks Peyton may not want him and chooses Lindsay as the default. Peyton ASKS him to. And he stays with Lindsay. So he stands at that altar, declaring his life long love to Lindsay knowing full well he could be with Peyton if he so chose. That's what makes the difference IMO.

There is no question that Peyton was a great love in his past, so I think he's entitled to some confusion when she turns up again, particularly because she's giving him info. he didn't know (she WAS at his signing)....but ultimately he choses Lindsay and so I really hope L/L end up together. I think it's the best ending for Lucas' character. That said, I fully expect L/P to end together
