I'm pretty sure they just got the wording wrong regarding Rachel's school status. I mean why the big goodbye scene if she's just going on vacation.

The way they are writing it it's a write off, as in probably will never see her again. Sure I guess she could make a cameo, but she's not vital to any storylines after she leaves(not that she ever was) but you get what I mean. LOL

ETA: It says Haley asks but I doubt Nathan does it. It will probably lead to a big talk or he does something cutesy like write only her name on the paper a million times and tell her she's the only one that ever mattered.

Do you guys really think Nathan's gonna make a list? He's gonna say one of his speeches to Haley and then everything will be perfect with them.

I vote for he writes only her name a million times on the paper and proceeds to explain it by saying she's the only one that ever mattered. Which is true, but I want more out of the convo.

Dang! I should learn to pay more attention to my source. She was giving me hints and I didn't even realize it. LOL. Gosh I am so blonde.

On another note I could totally see Nathan sitting on the floor in the living room with yearbooks spread out in front of him. Also, didn't he already say he looked at the pictures of the rest of her family and he hadn't slept with any of her other sisters.

Hmm, I guess with Peyton fighting a psycho every now and then, it's this show's equivalent to a vampire.

As for Brooke...yep, I suppose she's Cordelia. Cordelia was the most popular girl in school and very shallow (Season 1 Brooke was very shallow). Buffy had to work twice as hard to get voted Prom Queen because Cordy was Queen B.

The thing is...I don't care what anyone says about "It can't be Peyton"...Peyton was NEVER unpopular. If she was, then I guess her being introduced as a broody popular that Brooke saw as not being able to be friends with Haley because of it never happened. And I certainly don't see her caring about Prom Queen to work twice as hard to beat Brooke, like Buffy had to work twice as hard to beat Cordelia. Also, unlike Buffy at Sunnydale High, Peyton was in a popular click, while Buffy was in a "geek click." Speaking of that, I always liked that aspect of Buffy, of how she was popular in her former school, but when she moved to Sunnydale and started going to Sunnydale High, she was an outcast, but still befriended "geeks."

I would much have preferred a complete rip-off of the Buffy Prom episode, where just like neither Buffy nor Cordelia won, neither Peyton or Brooke will win this.

Some felt that Brooke should have won in Season 2, when Haley won it. But I don't get this way of thinking that Brooke has to automatically win. Haley was dating popular Nathan, and became part of the IT click, and I loved that she beat Brooke. I don't feel that Brooke is super way more popular than Haley or Peyton. I feel that her popularity may be above theirs, and with a few "undecided" votes, that's how either of them can beat Brooke. Acting like Haley or Peyton are some unpopular outcasts or possibly can't beat Brooke is just off, considering from past displays that all girls are popular. Peyton is the broody popular (keeps to herself, but people still know who she is), Haley is the shy-popular (doesn't really care about popularity either), and Brooke is supposedly a shoe-in because she's Captain of the Cheerleading Team and President. Yeah, that much popularity didn't help Cordelia win either, so I just don't find it as a shock that Brooke might not win, or if Peyton or Haley win over her, although I know some BLers would find that as a shock.

I just wish we knew who was going to win already. Speculating on the crowd seeing it as a "surprise" doesn't make sense in my eyes...if it's either of the girls, unless it has to do with the Nathan and Brooke sex tape scandal.

Heres how I see it going down:
Haley hands Nathan a piece of paper and a pen stating to write all his sexual partners down. An hour later Nathan asks for another piece of paper.

that would be terrible.
