Nathan does not cheat on Haley. He loves his family very much.

Haley asks for a divorce at some point after catching Nathan and Carrie in a compromising shower situation in 5.09.

Nathan and Haley do not divorce. They are reconciled by 5.12.

5.09 - "For Tonight You're Only Here To Know"

TRAPPED IN THE LIBRARY — At the first Raven's basketball game of the season, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti), Brooke (Sophia Bush), Peyton (Hilarie Burton), Lindsey (guest star Michaela McManus, "The Beautiful Lie") and Mia (guest star musician Kate Voegele) find themselves locked in the Tree Hill High library. Tensions run high as Peyton and Lindsey face off over Lucas (Chad Michael Murray). Brooke tries to stand up for her mother when her friends go on the attack. Haley plays mentor to Mia, who is experiencing the elation and disappointment of fame. Meanwhile, Mouth (Lee Norris), who is covering the game as his first official TV reporting assignment, struggles to find a story. Finally, Lucas and Nathan (James Lafferty) grapple with the decision to tell their loved ones about various indiscretions. Antwon Tanner also stars.

5.09 General Spoilers

Carrie walks in behind Nathan in the shower and for a second he thinks she's Haley. Of course, Haley walks in and witnesses this scene. Carrie's fired on the spot.

The Ravens are playing their first basketball game of the season. It's Lucas's first game as the coach and Nathan's as an assistant coach.

Some awkwardness abounds as Peyton has to witness Brooke and Haley hanging out with Lindsey.

5.10 - "Running To Stand Still"

Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) reels from a devastating blow to her marriage, while Nathan (James Lafferty) and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) muster their courage to attend Dan's (guest star Paul Johansson) parole hearing. 5.10 Side Summaries

Scene 23: Lucas and Nathan are driving to Dan's parole hearing in Nathan's Range Rover. Lucas asks how it went with Haley. Nathan tells him she'll need some time, and Lucas tells Nathan to give it to her as Nathan owes her that. Nathan makes a comment on how it would have been nice for them to have a father to go to for advice.

Scene 26: Nathan/Lucas at Dan's parole hearing: Dan makes a speech to the parole board about how if he's allowed parole, he'll devote his time to helping his family and those he hurt by his actions. Lucas, clearly not buying this, tells the parole board that Dan abandoned him and that Keith was always there for him. Lucas states that he's getting married next week, and that Keith would have been his best man. Lucas asks how a father can hope to be an influence on sons who have never come to visit him in prison. The parole administrator states that the file indicates that Nathan recently came to visit Dan. Lucas is startled by this.

5.11 - "You're Gonna Need Someone On Your Side"

Final episode to be filmed for 2007.

Carrie kidnaps Jamie from Lucas and Lindsey's wedding, but a seemingly reformed Dan saves him. However, when Dan is later found with Jamie, the episode ends on a cliffhanger with everyone assuming that he was the kidnapper.

Nathan gives Lucas advice to go after Lindsey. He tells him to look into his heart and if she is still there to go after her. Lucas says that he still wants to be with her so Nathan tells him to go find her. Of course there is more brotherly love in this scene including a hug so that's something. (Credit to Taylor)

The last scene in the last episode will include all the cast members... and will have an interesting ending.

There is a Naley flashback that happens sometime after they get married and before Haley gets pregnant where her and Nathan discuss their future and their plans to have kids. This is when the "I will love you forever" line happens. I wasn't going to mention the shower fiasco because it came from a anonymous source of mine and I didn't want all hell breaking loose. But Carrie is fired because she gets in the shower naked with Nathan and Haley walks in shortly after. In the flashback Haley says, "I want a little boy with your eyes," and Nathan responds with, "I want a little girl just like you." My source on this scene is very accurate. 5.12 Filming Spoilers

"We started off by filming Haley walking down the aisle as the maid of honor, next was Jamie as the ring bearer, Lily as the flower girl and finally Lindsey walked down the isle to 'Here Comes the Bride'. Next we filmed the scene where Lindsey runs out of the church, and she does in fact run, and Haley runs out after her. "We also filmed a scene where Peyton has a 'dream' or it is considered a dream sequence. The extras were asked to stand right outside of the door to throw birdseed up in the air. I thought it would be Lucas and Lindsey of coarse but it happened to be Lucas and Peyton and Haley and Brooke both are there as Peyton's bridesmaids in matching teal dresses. "Nathan and Haley are on very shaky ground at this point. I was under the impression that they aren't even living together at this point and time. They were very distant at the wedding. "Torrey's (Carrie's) hair is now black, Jackson had his blond up until Friday. Haley is wearing a black dress with some lace, she looks very beautiful. Peyton is in a strapless grey dress with black beads on it and Brooke is in a knee length purple strapless dress, all of the girls looked gorgeous! Nathan is in a black suit with a black bow tie." 5.12 Side Summaries

Scenes 24-26: Flashback. Nathan promises Haley that he's going to love her forever, and they kiss as we hear a string quartet begin to play in the church. Present day inside the church. Lindsey appears behind Jamie and Lily, the ring bearer and flower girl, as the wedding march begins. On the balcony, the organist sees the back of a woman watching the wedding taking place below. Mentioning that she may like to find a seat with everyone else, the woman responds that she's fine where she is. She then informs the organist that "my son's the ring bearer." Turning around, she is revealed to be Carrie, Jamie's former nanny, and she is wearing an "eerie grin" as we reach the end of Act 1.

Scene 27: Inside the church. Lucas and Lindsey's wedding. The kids (Jamie/Lily) are leading Lindsey down the aisle as Nanny Carrie watches from above. As Lily passes Peyton, she tosses petals into the air prompting a flashback to 4.09 from Peyton.

Scene 29: Brooke walks up to the front to begin her reading, as she does this Nathan steals a glance at Haley.

Scene 32: Lucas slips a ring on Lindsey's finger as Jamie whispers to Skills he has to go to the bathroom. Skills doesn't want him to go alone, but Jamie pleads saying Lily will make fun of him and that he knows where it is. Skills agrees making him promise to come right back.

Scene 33: In the foyer, Jamie runs into Carrie, shocked to see her. He hugs her and she lies to him saying his mom and dad said she could be with him again, then urges him to go with her. He protests, but she tells him she loves him and asks if he trusts her. He takes her hand.

Scene 43: Outside the church. Nathan comes up to Haley, Skills, Karen and Andy. Haley starts to panic and tells Nathan they can't find Jamie and that Dan was there earlier. Haley says she told Dan not to come into the church and her words become frantic. Nathan rushes out into the street to stop a police car. Nathan tells them his son is missing. The cops don't believe him at first and wonder if he's had a few drinks at the reception. Nathan goes off, not believing the cop is asking him that when his son is missing. He tells them his name and that his father is Dan Scott, a murderer. Haley and the rest reach Nathan. The policeman asks for a description. Haley notes Nathan's strength and springs into action. She tells the cop her son is 4 and a half years old, was wearing a black tuxedo, has blue eyes and sandy blonde hair.

Scene 44: Carrie in a motel bathroom washing the dye out of Jamie's hair. She tells him this will be so fun, he'll have black hair just like her. Jamie thinks his mama will be mad. Carrie smiles and pushes his head back under the faucet, quietly, to herself, telling him that she's going to be his mama now. Her grin turns a bit warped and that's the end of Act 4.

T2AC continuing this form my post on the old thead i was wondering if you could confirm that Naley are living togther or apart by ep 12 i think we were told that sources hav esiad that they are fine by 12 but does that mean not split up but not living togther?.

^ I'm not sure any of the spoiler sources know for sure (or at least have said) what their relationship is like in 512, but I'm pretty sure they're still living together. Most seem to agree on that much.

I don't have any sources so I can't confirm or deny anything for sure. I just work with the spoilers we've already got, and whether the people who posted them are reliable.

I wonder what more could they do in the 6 episodes following the kidnapping. I hope they lay the Carrie storyline to rest for good. I used to want her motive. Now I really don't care as long as she is out of the picture. (preferably in prison)

Yeah, I decided to add placeholders for the other six episodes. If nothing else it gives us an idea of the potential airdate schedule.

Okay, so I don't expect everyone else to stop talking about it, but personally I'm talked to death on the whole Nathan/Carrie issue, so I'm going to say this and then probably not say a whole lot more about it - at least that's the plan. We'll see how long it lasts.

If you're of the opinion that Nathan has known what Carrie was doing since 5.06, and has actively been keeping things from Haley and letting Carrie get away with it, then I do understand having a huge problem with him. I don't really agree, but I do understand it.

Having seen his "epiphany" at the end of 5.07, it's my personal opinion that he really didn't realise Carrie was a problem until that point. Maybe he thought what she was doing was harmless, and would be fine as long as he kept an eye on her. I don't know, there's no real explanation for that other than him being clueless. But whatever the explanation, I don't consider him a bad guy for not taking action when he apparently didn't realise there was a problem. I really can't explain how he didn't know, but to me, that's how it was played in 5.07; Quentin's words, and later Haley's, really woke him up and drilled the message home.

We know that 5.08 follows directly on from 5.07. The very next morning after he has realised what Carrie's trying to do, he makes it very clear that she's not to try anything else. For me, taking action as soon as he realises there's a problem doesn't seem like he's letting her get away with anything.

I also know a lot of us have a huge problem with the fact that Nathan doesn't do anything after Carrie kisses him. But honestly, I thought it was just as weird that he would fly off the handle and still not fire her. We kept coming up with possible reasons for why he wouldn't, such as Carrie giving him a sob story, but none of those reasons really made much sense.

As much as a harsh rejection would have been enjoyable to watch, in many ways I think this almost makes more sense given the situation. After the kiss, the whole thing has to be handled carefully so that he avoids hurting Haley, and gets Carrie out of the way without giving her a chance to cause any more trouble - I know, I know. She causes lots more trouble. Please bear with me.

So in that respect, I can understand why Nathan doesn't immediately do anything, and instead spends some time trying to figure out how to deal with it. After mishandling it so badly up to that point, it doesn't surprise me that he would want to make sure that the next time he takes action, it's decisive and actually gets the job done. Of course, assuming he's planning to tell Haley everything as seems likely, we know he doesn't get the chance to...

So that's why I think Nathan looks clueless, but not like someone who needs "redemption".

Anyway J, I agree with almost everything you said except Nathan's reaction to the kiss I mean who knows how it is going to play but the fact is that the psycho crossed another line here and the fact that Nathan told her the morning to STOP her games with him make this looking even worst because he doesn't fire her right away after that and I don't believe it's because he has no time to do it. I can't wait to see how he handle what happened in 5X09 because I'm sure he deicided to tell his wife everything but then the showergate accident happen. Nathan is more than clueless here. Anyway I don't know how the kiss will play but I really hope the kiss is like the Rachel kiss in 4x03 that's the least I can accept...maybe not.

The only scene I think I'm going to enjoy is the NH scene at the begining and maybe the QN scene.

I also agree that Nathan is not someone who needs this big redemption storyline. I do think that he and Haley need to really take some time and rebuild their communication. I want them to get everything out. His accident, the crazy nanny, dealing with Dan and her insecurities. Then I would like to see them move forward with their family.

As much as I feel Susan's pain( we all do) I absolutely do not think this is the end of NH in any way. They have been through worse in my opinion. They will get through this.
Mark is not a complete and total idiot so NH will be fine if not 100% by 5:12 than I am sure they will be working towards that in later episodes.

Also we have only 2 more episodes of the PsycHO on our acreen skanking it up. After that she will just be plain crazy and hopefull down the line her butt will either be in prison oor at the bottom of NH's pool.

I agree J I think that the whole Nathan telling Haley thing may go like it did in 4.9. Like Nathan goes "I need to talk to you." but first he goes to take a shower and Haley says some comment about going in there with him and then suddenly Carries in there and he sees her right as Haley walks in, screams at her, fires her (or they both do) and then yes. He needs to explain STAT.

I was thinking that the kiss could be played like this...Nathan got some paint on his face and she decides to take it off and then ske kisses him and then Nathan don't do anything because he's in shocked and at the moment where we think is going to say something Haley comes back home from the studio and Nathan doesn't say anything.
