Question: Any word on whether Michaela McManus (Lindsey) is returning to One Tree Hill next season? — Sam Ausiello: Based on the finale, I'd say there's a 33.333333 percent shot, right? Truth be told, no final decision has been made yet. Wisely, McManus isn't twiddling her thumbs waiting for producers to decide her fate. The up-and-comer has booked a juicy guest stint on CSI: NY to air next fall. She'll play a flight attendant who gets caught up in a hijack scheme and ends up helping Mac.

From what I hear, producers are still fleshing out the plans for next season, but I also hear that it's "98.8 percent" certain Dan will be back. Paul Johansson (Dan himself) tells me: "Dan is almost immortal. How can Dan die? He’s the liaison between Lucifer and the world!" Ha! As for Lucas' pick, both Hilarie Burton (Peyton) and Michaela McManus (Lindsay) tell me that they don't even know the answer, and I believe 'em. However, Hilarie also tried to convince me she's hooking up with Mouth next year, and I'm hard-pressed to buy into that one, 'cause Millicent seems the bomb, right? Go M&M!

New Kid in Town: One Tree Hill's sixth season will soon begin filming and with that comes word of a new character joining the show. I'm told that a 15-year-old foster kid, whom they're calling Samantha, will play a significant role this year. A source says she's a bit of a "Miss Sassy Pants," but will soften in subsequent episodes.

No, I have no intention to come back to OTH. I'm playing in movies now. I've already done TV Shows. I really liked being a member of TV show's cast. But now, I find it more exciting to play new characters every three months. I've just finished the movie Bride Wars with Kate Hudson. And I think I'll go on with another movie.

Have you been joined by the One Tree Hill producers ?

There were some discussions but it's not something I want to do again. This part of my life is over.

I don't know if this is consider a spoiler or not, but the cast & crew will not actually be filming in Vegas. Everything will be filmed on set. They were not able to spend the money to go and film there.
