There's a merlinesque episode? When?

Have to find the desc. But. The descrip was guy who has magic and believes it can be used for good. Parents kick him out though. Very rough descrip on my part.

I know right? I expected Emma have magic all along because of hints they've been given but I didn't expect it to come out this way and like THAT  that was amazing. Due to all spoilers we got I think this was only surprise in yesterday's episode for me too!

I'm curious about the fight Regina seems to be having with Emma in the preview for Cricket Game. Maybe Emma is about to leave on her quest to find Bae for Gold, and wants to take Henry with her? I can't think why else Regina would lose control like that.

I can't wait for the break to be over. I'm so excited for the rest of the season! Does anyone remember about how long it took last year till we started getting episode synopses and promo pics for the first ep of the new year?

iamFez 12-03-2012 01:17 PM

I can't remember but the hiatus last year was about 3 weeks instead of 5.

I was wondering the scene where Regina uses magic against Emma is even real. I was starting to think it might be a nightmare of Regina's?

I was also wondering if Gold swinging that cane at Hook was also a dream/nightmare.

The magic surprised me, and them coming back. I almost thought it was going to be dragged out longer, but I'm really glad it didn't! I kind of assumed in the beginning of S1 with the scene when Emma put the sheriff badge on that she had magic, but I guess I kind of forgot about it cause they never really brought it up after, at least not from what I can recall.

I do not feel any sympathy at all for Regina tbh lol. She's got a loong way to go, and her trying to keep MM/Snow and Emma out because she wanted Henry all to herself is not exactly a step forward. Now when the show comes back she's going to be going even more steps back...so how am I supposed to root for her exactly? lol. The reality to me is that Regina will never have a place in Henry's life with Snow and Emma around...there's just too much bad history. I'm willing to bet that in the end she will die and we'll see her and Daniel floating up into the heavens.

Except that's not what happened. Gold tried to bait with the idea of being the only mother in Henry's life, but she decidedly turned him down. It was only when he brought up Cora and what she may do when she gets to Storybrooke, especially to Henry, that Regina agreed to go along with the plan to take precautions by closing off the portal with magic. I thought the show was very clear about that in more than one scene. Definitely agree that it's still a long and bumpy road for Regina.

I'm leaning towards a dream sequence too. That shot of the Charmings at Regina's door looks exactly like something out of her last nightmare in 1x21 and their expressions and postures seem a bit exaggerated to me.

And we know there's a therapy scene coming up, so I suspect her subconscious toying with the idea of using magic again will make Regina seek out Archie.

ღMitra 12-03-2012 02:07 PM

But to me, you could tell that she got persuaded into doing it also because she did want Henry all to herself.

And it seems like she's regretting her decision now because of it, based on what we saw in the promo IMO.

I figured it was a misleading casting call, and they were really casting Red's mom and that other werewolf guy. I think it came out at the same time as the casting call discribing a magical woman.

PrincessB 12-03-2012 03:29 PM

I think the scene at Regina's could be real. The filming pictures also had Snow rushing to Emma and Regina looked kind of confused and regretful? Which would make sense, maybe something ticks her off and her anger works instantly. She can't instantly change, but she probably is working on it, so it's natural she will have fall backs.

I wonder if they find out about Cora and Hook in town in the next episode, maybe Regina takes Henry thinking she's only one who can protect him from Cora and this fight happens

I love the new promo. Rumpel is going to ask Emma to find Bae. I can't wait :D

In the podcast(available now at iTunes) for Queen of Hearts, Eddie and Adam do explain that the hat Emma made was not magical. Jefferson survived the fall, and took off into Storybrooke.

About Barrett, the outsider, can he be the wizard of oz? I don't remember well but wasn't the wizard from our world? In our world, He worked in a Fair or Carnival, I am not sure which is the best translation.
And maybe, the twist is they are taking the version of "Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West"

There is something I don't get it and is driving me crazy. Aurora is the daughter of sleeping beauty (Eddy and Adam confirm it), so her parents were true love, because her mother wake up many years ago. How is possible Hook could take her heart? And Cora was unable to take Emma's?
The only thing that make some sense to me is that maybe Emma's parents are also the product of true love. Snow's parents love really much and also Ruth (charming's mother) and her husband.... and that is what makes Emma so special?

About Regina:
All season 1, I loved to hate Regina, Even in the stable boy, I though she overreacted about Snow. She was only a child!!! Now, I feel sorry for Regina, she wasn't happy in the mines with Gold, I really believe she did it because she is afraid of Cora. But I understand, they didn't invite her to dinner, she has done too much damage to the charming.

I think, I haven't see this interview here:

Quote:

4. Regina will find redemption by helping those with whom she generally wants nothing to do.“This entire second season, up until Episode 12, probably, she will do the right thing. Not everyone will believe her– not everyone will believe her efforts—but she is genuinely trying to do the right thing, and I love her for that,” Parrilla said.

Oh absolutely:) I think its not in her character's nature to be good. She won't want to share Henry with Emma and all hell will break loose. I'm glad Emma and Snow got back to Storybrooke and I like the way Hook and Cora are sailing into Storybrooke, can't wait to see what's next:look:should be great.

The Cricket Game sounds more like an Archie episode.
