I agree with all those that said this was a well-written episode. Very heartbreaking ending for Stefan and Elena, but we all knew it was coming. |

in all honesty, i kinda think the ep had some points for delena and stelena. elena admitted to feelings for damon on the basis of her feelings being amplified due to her turning. plus, she never admitted to loving damon, or not loving stefan. on the other hand, stelena is definately on a break, since stefan had to endure her telling him she wants to be with his brother.

Ohh, I have to say. Major points for Tyler being the only person in Mystic Falls that sees the problem in sacrificing innocent people for Elena's sake.

ik i totally agree. i got shocked when caroline said 'but chris wasn't a friend.' you cannot trade one life for another. no one is more valuable than another because you think they are your friend.

WELL WELL WELL, looks like I was right!
 My original prediction was that SE would have their break-up before DE got together, sometime before the mid-season finale, on it, or a little bit after, and it looks like it has finally happened.And I still don't trust that this is definite lol. I'm sorry, but fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice... Nope. Not trusting it. The way that they had Elena talking to Stefan...ugh, cringe worthy. So the human you felt nothing for Damon, but now you magically do? Shut up, lol. Such BS writing, or such denial on Elena's part...still. |

Will Damon and Elena have sex?
The Vampire Diaries Extended Promo 4x07 - My Brother's Keeper I really love the extended promo,and I love the music that accomplish it. Quote:
In season 3 Damon and Stefan (especially Stefan) had just about killed all of Klaus's hybids and we did not hear one word of protest coming from Tyler. Even the very rightous Bonnie never spoke out against Damon and Stefan killing Klaus's hybrids. So when Caroline say that he not your friend, what she means to say was since when did you start to care about the other hybrids? Up until Hayley showed up we never got to see Tyler interact with any of the hybrid to get the feeling that he care about them,or cared about what happen to them. Hayley said she had to track Tyler down. I do not know how much of that is true, but if it is true, than that means that Tyler didn't intend on breaking the sire bond on all of Klaus's hybrid,and it was something he though about doing when Hayley showed up on his doorstep. Good for him. However , Hayley seem to be interested in more than just breaking the hybrid 's sire bond. I think she has design on Tyler. So the more they bond over breaking the sire bond, the more Hayley going to push Caroline out of Tyler's life. Which is find by me. Thanks goodness Caroline has Klaus to console her.  As a DE fan, I seriously don't know how to feel about this episode. It was well written, I'll admit that. But the whole SE and TC thing just got me confused. I felt so terribly bad for Stefan and for Tyler, it was heartbreaking. And the actor who plays Connor was so badass. I loved his scenes. It really sucks that they killed him off so quickly. And as for DE, here's my prediction: I think that they'll break up in the season finale. Season five will then be about Elena being alone, without the salvatores. and in season 6 she will once again be conflicted about her feelings for the two brothers, but in the end she'll choose Stefan. last but not least, kudos to the person here who predicted DE remembering their MMF dance, while watching another couple dance. __________________

Kudos to JP. I'm always badmouthing her, but she did a great job along with this Evan guy writing last night's episode. She's also one of the writers of the mid-season finale, I hope she does just as a good job.
Someone pointed out last thread the girls aren't dressed as formal as in 1x19... well they aren't contenders anymore, just guests - although Caroline is the reigning miss - so the spotlight isn't on them, which is why they aren't in such formal clothes. I remember Jenna wasn't in such formal clothes back in 1x19. Do you guys think this Silas myth or whatever Atticus (OMG!) was talking about is the big evil coming? And I also think he has a hidden agenda to help whoever this big evil is (if it doesn't turn out to be himself after some curse or prophecy is concluded). I even think he's the one who led Pr. Young to kill all the council (probably through hypnosis, though I'm still not convinced he's totally human and what he calls hypnosis could be something like compulsion). Either way I can't wait for this big evil to come for many reasons, the main of them because I really hope they make Klaus an honorary member of their gang. Klaus is still a one man's soldier, he works for himself, but he had shown so far that if he has a common goal with the gang he has no problem working with them. And hoping this new evil is actually a great arc, it could be extended to next season and more reason for Klaus to live. Now regardless of my love for Klaus, I just hope they don't ret-con the bloodline storyline. I was never a fan of that storyline, I thought it was lame since before it was played out in the show, but if they wrote it, they better stick with it. One of the things I hate about this show is how they always find a loophole in their mythology to undo things that they stated previously that couldn't be undone. And this is big, no magic should be able to stop it from happening... Now in the biased side of me, I want my hybrid to never die, I want him to live forever. 52y, 4m, 9d... I'll never forget baby, I love you so much, you deserve this multiplied by 10 of happiness, even if you're a jerk, evil, and all the bad words in the dictionary. We, your fans, get why you are the way you are and we'll stick with you til the end.  __________________
