Episode 212 - The Lonely Hearts -Febuary 10th

-Seth slept for only 15 minutes and looks really tired (Summer says he looks like a homeless man). To help himself stay awake, he drinks a few expressos. Summer, Zach, and Seth are at a company where they are pitching in a story they created (characters by the beach with powers) for a comic. Seth is somewhat incoherent and stressed due to the cafeeine and even gives new names to characters (or creates new characters, it's unclear) like the Ironist and Little Diva. Summer is not happy when she sees that the characters are too close to home. She excuses her team to the business man, who tells them the story wasn't bad but it's clear they are not ready for a partnership. Zach's sister will be getting married in Italy and Summer will be his date.
-Along with the Ironist and Little Diva, other comic book characters will be Kid Chino, Cosmo Girl, and demon water polo players, all living in Atomic County. This scene will be priceless for all Seth fans!

Meanwhile, Ryan wants to spend Valentine's Day with Lindsay, but her loyalty to Caleb gets in the way on the "Lonely Hearts Club" episode of THE O.C Thursday, Feb. 10

Rain comes to The O.C., and with it, old and new relationships reach a crossroads on the final February episode of The O.C,. Thursday, Feb. 24. When Summer leaves Zach at the airport, she and Seth share a kiss worthy of "Spiderman." Ryan is surprised when Lindsay makes a difficult choice. Marissa's relationship changes course in an unexpected way. And finally, Sandy's difficult decision leaves one woman alone and another picking up the pieces.

From Spoiler Fix:

Episode 2.15 - The Mallpisode - March 3rd

12/27 - A man named Lance Bradley drops by the Newport Group asking to see Julie... he claims he is a "blast from her past." Another man, this one named Griffin Conroy, also from Julie's past, comes to the office too. Julie and Griffin have a chat in a bar where she asks him what he's doing in Newport... could he want money so he doesn't reveal certain things from her past? It's the latter and he has it on tape! What could it be? Summer, Seth, Ryan, and Marissa go to a store (even if it's closed because it's Sunday) where they get clothes for a charity for women. An employee let them in but somehow they seem to end up being stuck in the mall with no way out (or maybe they just decide to stay there and have fun as long as possible... it's not clear). Alex appears in the episode.

Episode 2.16: The Blaze of Glory
Airdate: March 2005

01/21 - Sandy wants to have a chat with a man named Lance, who's somewhat busy with a hooker. Sandy wants to negotiate a deal that will keep secret certain things about Julie. Students are trying to assemble a big wooden horse on the beach (Troy?). Marissa seems in charge of the project as students keep asking her questions but she doesn't know all of the answers. Ryan comes to her help. Source: SpoilerFix.com

Episode 2.17 - The Brothers Grim -
Airdate: March/April 2005

01/22 - Trey is out of jail and decided to turn to his brother for help and a place to stay. He'll end up staying in the pool house. He's looking for a job but it's not working well. Ryan finds a watch Trey was looking at earlier in the episode when they went shopping with Marissa and accuses his brother of having stole it. Trey says he went back to the store to buy it. The brothers' relationship goes back to what it used to be... Ryan thinks he's brother will never change... Trey wants to prove he's on the right path now. Since he's brother doesn't seem to want to give him a chance, Trey storms out. Ryan and Marissa go to a bar in Chino in the hope to find Trey. There is a party at the Cohens for, what it seems, the launch of "Newport Living." Carter appears in the episode. Source: SpoilerFix.com

I agree with what someone said about Ryan needing a hair cut, I really don't like it this season.

I think Alex and Marissa look good together too.

As for the Caleb thing, I guess it wasn't a foiler. I doubt he was in a fire, maybe he just had a mild heart attack or something. I wonder if Hailey is really in this episode and she just wasn't in the room at the time, or if the person that provided the spoiler mixed Lindsay and Hailey up.

Peter, Ben, and Michael's hair is just ....uhhh.....get a haircut..stat!

Yeah. I'm liking the look of Alex and Mariss too.

I wish Hailey would be there but I doubt it. Less we forget Hailey has a new found sister too. I'd like to see some Hailey, Kirsten, and Lindsay bonding myself.

From Zap2it:

Quote:
Guest Stars Promise Entanglements for 'O.C.' Adults
(Monday, January 17 10:50 AM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) If you think it's tough being an attractive, young, preternaturally intelligent young adult in Orange County, you should try being one of the attractive, slightly-less-young, preternaturally intelligent grown-ups on FOX's "The O.C." While the twentysomethings playing teens are FOX's demographic meal tickets, a series of guest stars are making life tough on the show's older characters.
As was previously announced, Kim Delaney begins a five-episode arc on the FOX Thursday drama starting on Jan. 27, playing a flame from Sandy Cohen's (Peter Gallagher) past. Presumably, complications will ensue.

The past will also come back to haunt Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke) when Johnny Messner begins a story arc as Lance, an opportunist from Julie's blue collar back story. Messner will make his first appearance on March 3. Presumably, complications will ensue.

In addition to roles in the features "The Sweetest Thing" and "Tears of the Sun," Messner co-starred last fall in "Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid." Messner, currently signed to a talent deal with FOX, is the second member of the decorated "Anacondas" cast to spend time on "The O.C.," following Nicholas Gonzalez, whose D.J. appears to have vanished for good.
Messner's debut will also see the introduction of Billy Campbell as Carter, a businessman who arrives in Newport Beach to work on a project with Kirsten (Kelly Rowan). Presumably, complications will ensue.

A Golden Globe nominee for ABC's "Once and Again," Campbell's credits include "Dynasty," "The Rocketeer" and "Tales of the City."

Too many new characters this season.

The reason The O.C used to be my favorite show was because things used to move really fast. In 5 episodes things could change completely.

This season, however... Blah.

I feel like I'm watching the Third season of Felicity all over again. During last week's episode I had time to help my younger brother with his Calculus homework. That's just wrong.

I don't know if its all of the new characters (They are adding 3 more?) or the Bait Shop (I hate that place!) but this show has turned into something boring. Yes, I said it!

There is no difference with how many new characters are in this season than in season 1.

Season 1 we had: Holly, Rachel, Anna, Theresa, Oliver, Eddie, and Hailey.
Season 2 ..so far we have: DJ, Lindsay, Zach, Alex, Rebecca, Carter, and Lance.

Hmmmmmmmm. Doesn't really bother me that much.

The only new character I liked last season was Theresa. Although, Hailey was cool too.

This season I love love love Lindsay. And Alex is starting to be interesting.

I'm not put off by the new people. I AM put off by the implication of some possible Kandy adultery. That puts me off.
