Marvel’s The Defenders' follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal - to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

The good thing about the defenders is that even if the plot is crap (it won't be), at least we'll get to see our great characters from the marvel/netflix universe intereacting together.

Btw, some fans online are freaking out because Claire hasn't been "officially" announced yet. It's a given that she'll be in it.

And thanks for starting!! Jessica and Misty meeting is awesome. Are the cops going after the powered people? Or Misty found Jessica doing something illegal (which is very possible by JJ's state lol). I never realized how much I wanted this until I saw the pics alsdlkjkl

Yep. Her appearance was officially announced this morning. Elektra and Colleen are the other two who will surely be joining the show as well.

My question is, why is Misty in cop mode outside of Harlem? lol Is this the start of her going rogue, maybe painting outside the lines a bit? I can certainly see that, given how LC ended. Perhaps she went looking for Jessica on her own for some reason (could be her connection to Luke and/or because Jessica has powers) and caught Jessica doing something illegal as you said. Hence, her pulling her gun. Could be a misunderstanding and we see them working together right after. That would be cool.

Are cops restricted to their district? Aren't they all in NYC? Not sure how these things work, lol. She has her badge out so she's probably not undercover (unless she pulled it out specifically before arresting JJ). You think she might be investigating the source of Luke's powers? I wonder if she's working on her own, or with someone higher up in the police dep sending her on a secret mission (but that's too in the territory of agents). I really hope they team up.

I sorta felt that Misty was done playing by the department's rules at the end of Luke Cage. I wonder why she has the gun on Jessica though. I hope Trish makes an appearance. I really liked her. Can't wait for more filming pics.

Me either. lol But it looks like Misty is alone, at night, outside of Harlem. I'm inclined to think this isn't fully sanctioned police business, that there is more to it. I did notice that her badge is visible though, which means she obviously isn't trying to hide who she is. We'll see how it plays out but I'm expecting a continuation of what we saw at the end of LC, with Misty flirting with the vigilante side a bit. So her doing some investigating separate from the PD makes sense and Luke could very much be a part of that somehow. Regardless, her and Jessica together should be very interesting. I'm imagining a lot of snark/sass. lol
