Acclaimed country-music drama “Nashville” has returned for a fourth season—with more jaw-dropping, heartbreaking moments than ever before.
“Nashville” is set against the backdrop of the city's music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them and often complicating their lives are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business. Music City can mean so many things to different people. In "Nashville," musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and are doing everything in their power to stay on top.

Sometimes I don't know what to think about Nashville marketing. The previews for the next ep show Juliette getting jealous of Avery and Hallie plus some stuff going on with the Exes. But the press images released for the ep are all about Maddie, Clay, Daphne, and the Exes. What?! Where are Juliette and Avery?

I just find it so bizarre that the show spends so much time on Maddie and Daphne. The press site is loaded with pics of them, and the eps have really focused on them more than a lot of other characters. Are they that popular?

I don't get the love for Maddie & Daphne either.... the feedback that they are getting is, beside from a few die hard Fans on Twitter, not that great (understatement).

I don't have strong feelings either way, but I think we also have no idea the percentage of people that represents vs. the number of people who watch. And most people have a presence on multiple social media sites and may be repeating themselves. Plus, in my experience, people who are generally happy with the status quo don't go out of their way to say so. People who are unhappy are generally more motivated to complain. That seems to be true in any venue in which you're being asked for your opinion or where opinions can be shared.

So now we have Juliette walking around everywhere with a signed copy of the CD from Travis to Maddie. How not smart can she get? At least she is not trying to hide the cover from anyone (except Maddie). This week she placed the signed cover On a stand right in front of the band playing behind her. Whaaaa? Why did she need the demo at all while she was taping the song with the musicians there? I want this storyline finished Now.....like yesterday. I'll bet Maddie will end up getting the song and I am so tired of her singing on every show! (I must admit I like all of the songs she has sung this season, but enough is enough.) One solution I think would be a good compromise is for Juliette and Maddie to sing the song together as a duet. And since Maddie isn't going to school for that GED, they could go on tour together.

While my favrite couple is javery, I get you. It's just not anymore the same. Reyna/Deyna is gone but javery is partly gone too. At least in the way it used to be before. They put avery far away from the center in the new poster.

It's a completely different show. I'm Deyna, but I'm also Javery. I love the Juliette from S1-3. I loved the ladies together. But this Scarlett mess (never liked her anyway), Maddie & Daphne stuff.... bleeeh. I get teenagers, but not full time on an adult tv show...

I don't begrudge Maddie and Daphne their own storylines, but gosh, why do they have to have so many of them and take up so much airtime? Remember when this was an adult show with people sleepging together and showing some skin? When's the last time J&A have been in bed together? I'll tell you. Season 3, and even then, it wasn't very sexy. I just want the focus changed away from these girls and back to the adults.
