I vote for the new cast pic since this season seems like a new beginning in so many ways.
As for the S/A hand holding, it was just a show of comfort. Avery tells Scarlett he's sorry about the two of them (meaning S/G) and reaches out to hold her hand. I got nothing romantic from that at all. Merely a friend comforting a friend. At least, that is my take on it. I realize that S/A have history but that seems so long ago now. Would the writers really go there? Not sure but I hope not. Avery seems to have a lot going on already without adding that element. He has Juliette/Cadence and his career is heating up. I'm intrigued by the J/S scene and wonder what Juliette is trying to get Scarlett to do for her. I'm also interested to know who sent Will the rose. Hoping it's Kevin but fearing it isn't. Very pleased in the thunderous applause for Will. Hoping that's real and not some fantasy Will is having. It would be well deserved for him. |

Avery taking Scarlett's hand worries me that it might be a setup for a new beginning for Avery and Scarlett. I felt the same way when I read about the storyline with Bridgit Mendler that this may be some sort of a love interest starting. I really can't help it. All this just conjures up the season 4 nightmare with Layla Grant. It's sad really that I am so distrustful of the Nashville writers that I am not able to put any confidence in them allowing my favorite couple to work their way toward each other. And There has already been talk about Juliette finding a new love interest. I'm just tired of waiting....tired if being paranoid. |

There's a party at Gunnar's so the person was already there, not cast to interrupt anything. Might not even happen, just like the doctor touching Juliette's face in 501. I really don't see anything wrong with him comforting Scarlett if she and Gunnar broke up and she's unhappy and has just been conscripted into hosting a party at his house when she probably doesn't want to be there.
And the PT is only around for a few episodes. I really don't think the plane crash changed Juliette's sexuality. :lol: |
