Acclaimed country-music drama “Nashville” has returned for a fourth season—with more jaw-dropping, heartbreaking moments than ever before.
Season Three concluded with the ultimate cliffhanger—a flatline—as Deacon went under the knife to receive a liver transplant from his sister, Beverly. And when all is said and done, Rayna must learn to negotiate professional demands in the face of unthinkable personal tragedy. After the birth of her daughter Cadence, Juliette began to suffer from worsening postpartum depression and consequently recommitted to her music and movie careers—a choice that will cause her professional life to sizzle but her family life to fizzle. Her husband Avery, meanwhile, must determine how—and where—to raise their baby girl. Rayna’s teenage girls, Maddie and Daphne, grapple with growing pains of their own, knowing they have different fathers—one of whom (Deacon) may die in surgery and the other of whom (Teddy) is headed to prison.
Elsewhere, cowboy Luke Wheeler has recruited superstar Juliette Barnes to be on his record label—a timely boon, considering his biggest artist, Will Lexington, came out publicly at a press conference to the surprise of the whole industry. Scarlett and Gunnar, who together comprise musical duo The Exes, still remain exes as they embark on tour for their latest E.P., but their chemistry—both onstage and off—might soon be too powerful for them to deny. And Jeff Fordham, Rayna’s nemesis, continues to be romantically enmeshed with Highway-65 artist Layla Grant, the only person who can see the good in him but whom he always manages to hurt—whether he means to or not.
This season will see ”Nashville’s” singers, songwriters and superstars struggle to reconcile their public and private realities. Some will fight to climb to—or stay on—the top. Some will succumb to their own ambition. And all will learn how to survive in the wake of loss—proving that music may be at the heart of Music City, but drama always reigns.

Does anyone follow Lennon and Maisy on Snapchat? It looks like they're on set today, but I can't really make out where. I also can't tell if it's Chip in the beginning of one of their videos or not-- looks like they're outside on a porch? It's a profile shot and it's quick, but it looks like it could be him. Their parents are there too, though, so it's entirely possible that they're all just hanging out during a break in filming or something.

Don't follow them but they've been filming for an outdoor Markus concert today... there was also a pic of Connie... and the hashtag here would lead me to believe that Chip's probably there too... it seems likely that DR and the girls are all there for Markus' concert

Here is something I bet no one on this show has considered. Juliette's attempted suicide has raised all sorts of issues legally. Firstly, suicide or attempting suicide is illegal. The fact that Jeff dies as a result of Juliette's attempted suicide, in most places based on English law, would mean Juliette is charged with homicide. (Ref English suicide act 1961). I am assuming this is the legal case in Nashville. Juliette, denying that or Luke lying about it in an attempt to cover it up would be perjury. Luke or Juliette influencing a witness (ie Colt) would also at the least be interference with the course of Justice. Now, my twisted humor approach. Maybe if Hayden was unable to come back to the show Juliette could be written out by sending her to jail. lol. :)

^ Suicide is no longer illegal in the US.. they'll still investigate Jeff's death though... and if Luke, Juliette, Colt, whoever try to cover it up it could be obstruction of justice.. not sure that the police would pursue that anyway since Jeff's death wasn't a crime and Juliette is clearly unstable and needs therapy and not jail

Ok, it appears my information regarding illegality of suicide in the US is subject to question. What is illegal definitely, and also in the US is if another person dies as a result of an attempted suicide then charges can be laid. The operative here is CAN. These vary from murder to involuntary homicide. The rest of my post follows as a consequence, but don't take it too seriously people. It was meant to be humorous. I would not expect any of this in the show.

However this wouldn't qualify here. Juliette didn't jump off a roof and crushed him to death in her fall, he fell by losing his footing after pushing her. It's not murder or homicide. It's accidental death.

I don't really like Markus's songs much but his character makes me laugh lol I don't even know where his mind is at half the time and he walks in Rayna's and starts going through her fridge oh the look on her face lmao!! I just can't wait for Deacon to meet him lol. I don't know his songs I could fast forward through but he's funny, and the look on Avery and Rayna's face around him is priceless.
Someone will let the cat outta the bag when it comes to Jeff. I find it terrible for a kid as young as Colt to not only lie about it but actually witness the entire event. So something I'm sure is going to happen w that. The entire story is so dramatic and yes this is a drama and TV so I can't even make sense of it lol. This lady I hope gets the blame and gets off the show quick she annoys me, Luke's PR lady or whoever she is. Erin can take a hike too lol. Markus I can handle as long as I don't have to see his boots and him singing anymore..

According to this article, Hayden will be last seen in the Nov. 18 episode, and will be back, but it doesn't say when!
Bringing this over from the last thread - I'm glad to finally hear some comment from the show on this and that they believe she will be back. Hope she doesn't rush back too quick though. Regardless, at this rate we won't see her again until March or later... that saddens me. I don't know how high my interest will remain while she is gone. I love Avery but somehow I am doubting I'm going to love whatever they cook up for him while she is MIA.
As for that headline that shows up as the link in the quote... I'm guessing they mean season 4.

I put the link earlier in the other spoilers section in case it gets lost in the discussion and some want that info. Glad she is in 408. And yeah when you have the actual link a browser it says season 4 so I am guessing that was a typo on their part.

Me too. I can't wait for this Beverly storyline to be over with. Deacon and Rayna need to be in the same storyline at least half the time. It's ridiculous that he hasn't met him yet. I also miss the old Deacon/Maddie scenes. I hate new bratty Maddie.

Sorry this might have already been asked but just wondering why they are filming episode 412 after 410 and missing 411? Is that quite common to miss out an episode and go back to film it later ? Just curious really.

I hope Dee is correct that she will be back & not just saying this. Regardless add me to the list of those who will not be watching any episodes where Juliete is missing. I have zero I interest in anyone else on this show.
