There is 0% indication Luke has ANY idea how to run a label. A big star and the lead of a label ARE NOT THE SAME THING. Rayna barely knows what she's doing most of the time, lol (signing Layla is a real clear sign of THAT), and Luke seems even less personally business inclined. He signs off on a lot of stuff and poses for the camera fine, but there's no indication he's interesting in RUNNING A LABEL. WTF???

And when Rayna was trying to start H65 Luke didn't get it at all and kept going on about how great it was to be on a big label and having other people make all the business decisions while he gets to tour and make lots of money. This insistence on trying to make Luke and Layla relevant when nobody likes them is making me stabby

I could see Luke losing his label when Will comes out if they want to go that way about that storyline. It's not like they have written that storyline great from the start, making it all about Layla so now it can be all about Luke.

And ugggghhh does this mean we're going to be subjected to a lot more Rayna/Luke scenes?!!?! I had hoped we were free of that when she dumped him. But is she still going to be stuck with him as a business rival?!!? That's what we had Jeff for. And Rayna/Jeff scenes were actually entertaining.
