COLLEGE DAYS --- After spending the summer enjoying her passionate relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), and making sure that Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is adjusting after his return from the dead, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is thrilled to move into the dorm at nearby Whitmore College with her new roommate, Caroline (Candice Accola). Still believing that Bonnie (Kat Graham) has been traveling all summer and will soon join them, Elena and Caroline are surprised when a student named Megan (guest star Hayley Kiyoko) shows up and announces that she will be sharing their dorm room. Katherine (Nina Dobrev) makes an unexpected appearance at the Salvatore house and pleads with Damon to help her now that she is human and vulnerable to her enemies. Matt (Zach Roerig) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) return to Mystic Falls after spending a wild summer in Europe, where they met a mysterious beauty named Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda). Elena can't shake the feeling that something is wrong with Stefan (Paul Wesley), and Silas (Paul Wesley) makes a terrifying appearance at the "End of Summer" party in the town square. Lance Anderson directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#501)

Nah, the truth is season 4 Damon was Elena's lap puppy... it's hard to defend him while I find myself having a hard time with him.
I don't mind the way he treated Bonnie in the island or Jeremy in the deleted scene, that's my Damon. Now the Damon that allows Elena to **** in his mouth, it's a big no-no to me. as he'll spend some time apart of her this season doing the long distance relationship I'll probably defend him more - he's the solely reason I'm watching season 5. No Stefan, no Silas, no human!Kat, no Caroline would do it for me. I wouldn't watch for any of those characters, but I'm watching for Damon

Also, I only have problem with Stefan bias when he's painted as a saint - he's far from it imo - and this thread spends more time bashing Damon than worshiping Stef so the times I defended Damon was probably when Stefan's saint-ness was in detriment of Damon.

I am a total Stefan!Stan, and I make no apologies about it

I will defend him till the end.. even when he does something I don't particularly agree with. My Stefan love is pretty much unhealthy, but I don't care

He is the only reason I watch this garbage.

I agree. They seem to gloss over the bad things that Stefan did , or do. When Stefan went all ripper early in season 3 and Damon tells Elena about what Stefan use to do to high school girls we got one moment of Elena with a scared look on her face, than it wasn' t mention again. Same with Stefan killing Andi. We get one moment of Damon reacting to it, and it's never
Mention again. No one brought up the fact that Stefan wasn't ordered tso kill Andi, nor was he under Klaus's compulsion. Stefan is the Good brother and the one Elena should chose, however Damon will always be the one she desire.

The latest spoiler states that Silas will take a interest in Katherine,but it will be far from a romantic interest. So what do you think Silas might want from Katherine? Do you think Katherine will know it's not stefan?

Well,to be fair,Damon didn't have many f-ucks to give about Andy either,,she was a blow up doll to him,just like Caroline.

Bonus Scoop: Toward the middle of the season, Katherine will find herself trapped in a crypt with an Afghanistan war vet acquaintance of Stefan’s who only returned home alive thanks to a transfusion of vampire blood — and now is having a very, very, very hard time keeping his bloodthirst under control.

Also lol why feel sorry for Damon in season 4, poor Damon, a supernatural sire bond allowed him to get everything he wanted.
