yeah not only that but if she started showing way way early if she still has at least 4 months to go. And it would mean whoever leaked it to the press leaked it when she was one month in.

I mean I could buy that she looks more pregnant than she is (I know two woman due within 2 days and they look at totally different stages of pregnancy) but 4 weeks seems super early for the news to leak.

it's very early and I just looked on the Hayden board and in june she already had a bump in pics that's pretty rare for two months in without expecting twins or something.

Yes and especially with a first child it normally takes a longer for a bump to show. (Of course I understand all cases are different). Who knows.

Either way it's impossible to speculate what the show will do and what it can do.

I know people have suggest filming scenes ahead of time. I don't have a lot of insight here but if that was to happen how does that works in regards to different directors and stuff like that...

It's actually fairly common in shows, and from Derek Hough's schedule I wouldn't be surprised if he's doing it with Nashville- some actors have limited schedules, and they just write those scenes ahead of time. Ellen Pompeo worked out her maternity leave like that- she filmed scenes ahead of time, and she didn't miss an episode of GA.

Yeah I had a feeling Ellen had done it but I wasn't entirely sure if I was remembering correctly and I guess it's possible Derek is doing something similar with his DWTS commitments, though maybe he'll be able to work around it.

JJ would certainly be familiar with this process, lol- he filmed I believe two weeks worth GH scenes in two days, so he could have time to move his family from Washington State back to CA.

JJ is clearly the pro then. He can be the advice giver I've always been amazed at the quick pace of soap filming though, like even their typical schedule not to mention a scenario like that.

Soap actors are so underappreciated- they have INSANE work ethics. Soaps are mostly talking- the amount of dialogue they have to remember is incredible. It takes a primetime show like 8-11 days per episode, but soaps have to work at least five times as fast.

And not to brag on JJ again, lol, but his epic rant against Nikolas and Elizabeth that won him his fourth Emmy was mostly done in one take. Amazingggg.
