Yes, in-between books 8 & 9, with a girl named Tabitha. The Liars were on spring break where they met Tabitha, who had bad burn scars and looked a lot like Alison. Being completely paranoid, as usual -- especially Emily, who had at the last minute provided Alison with a chance to escape in book 8 (she hated Alison, but she couldn't cope with just letting Alison die; and at this point in time, she didn't know if Alison HAD escaped or not) -- the Liars freak out and think Tabitha really IS Alison, in disguise. They confront her on their hotel rooftop and a minor scuffle happens wherein Aria accidentally pushes Tabitha off the roof. (Her body then goes missing, etc, etc.) Weirdly enough, it's SPENCER in the books who freaks out about it the most; she considers herself the most guilty.

Idk. Probably because they felt like Toby couldn't be redeemed for that and they wanted him to stick around. Certainly in S1a there's a lot of implications that he DID molest Jenna. But that's obviously not how it panned out.

And also killed off by real!Alison, to protect her identity.

Mona has become the wildcard these last two seasons so I understand why the Liars are going to Mona for help since there really isn't anybody else.

I am wondering how much Mona knows that hasn't been revealed so far; did she know about Bethany beforehand as well as Melissa? Did Melissa call her that night to hide Bethany's body?

If the Liars are smart, they'll ask Mona the right questions this time so that we can get real answers.

Does anyone know how long Alison knew Mona was "A"? I have often wondered why Alison never revealed herself to anyone during the dry period between S2 and S3

Wow, so interesting!

Really, the TV show, minus a few things, has really stayed true to the book series overall. I mean, even if in some instances the storylines are not an exact copy of the books, they are still going with "versions" of storylines, too. It's why you cannot for even a second think Alison can turn out being an angel without blood on her hands. It's not possible.

I know it. Initially, I thought he was a baddie. Very, very early on I did. But when Emily strikes up a friendship with him, I knew he would be okay. I was shocked to find out what book Toby was all about.

That's seriously as bad as it gets. What a horrible life she had. I like Toby and am glad they didn't go the book route with him but I also can't help but like Jenna even if they pinned the molestation on her for as horrible as it sounds. I think because they do such a good job of showing the "real book parts to her" such as the blindness and not having it easy. The part where she manipulates Toby for sex almost seems less real if that makes sense because you can also feel aspects of her book character far too strongly.

I thought it was a nice twist on Toby being the victim instead of the purp. Emily and Spencer seems to hate her way more than Toby does but I think he's just still under her bomb ass pussy spell. lol

Some things ended up working out and even SS likes it but I'm not sure she enjoys other aspects of what Marlene has done.

Yeah the Liars didn't really get a tone of answers from Mona but hopefully they for work together this time.

So the Teen Choice Awards were tonight and it seems that PLL took home all the awards except for Villain

Interesting that Mona didn't get it after two consecutive wins; but truthfully, since she is no longer "A"- does she still count as a Villain?

She was going up against two cute boys. I'm not sure we know if she's a villain or not yet. Al thought she haven't really done anything evil since 3B. A should win every year as far as I'm concerned.
