I'm thinking that maybe ring thing turns out to be nothing that big in the end? They needed a ring for the LV wedding. She had one. They were going to use it but obviously the wedding doesn't happen so the ring isn't used. Maybe afterwards Peyton wears it as she normally does instead of turning it in to an engagement ring and we will see maybe another proposal and an engagement ring from Lucas later on? Or they just get married.

Personally I'd rather not know anything more about 601... as long as there are good/great scenes for LP, I'm good - wanna leave at least some LP magic in suspense lol.

Yep, this is the same ring. I believe 517 is the first ep she wore it in. So, Mark was planning ahead.

I just noticed this but she does wear it in season one. she wears it on her thumb though. You can see it when she is kissing Lucas after he get home from the hospital after the car accident but i think she wears it the whole season...or maybe not...it looks a little smaller than the season 5 ring..IDK lol

Well, sometimes, its like overkill. But that's me. I understand a lot of people have to/want to know everything... fair does to them. Overkill comes with the spoiler territory
