A watch over the body of a deceased person before burial.

It's like a gathering when someone dies, sort of like a memorial of sorts, there might be some sort of event/festive afterwards. My family has sort of dinner gatherings with music.

No there two different things. A wake is usually held @ a funeral home, and than the funeral is @ the church

No thats not the same. I though they were two different events. But my cultural stuff might be different. There is the funeral with the priest/minster but the wake is not the same thing.

Oh well, I have not been to a funeral since I was 15, what the hell do I know anyways? I laugh at funerals, because my parasymapthetic system is out of wack, along with my emotional system. I dont know how to grieve.
