The phone call was a good dramatic cliffhanger, but I hated the camera angle they ended the scene on with Lucas just holding the phone to his ear for like 5 seconds in silence. Wouldn't he be asking Haley why she thinks he shoudn't be marrying Lindsey? I'm guessing he will in 512, but either Haley's response is totally non-LP related, or she decides not to tell him what she was thinking the night before.

Maybe Lindsey didn't say "tomorrow". I can't remember now. I guess I just went into that episode thinking it was the night before and didn't pay attention if anyone actually ever said that during the episode.

I just fast-forwarded through. I seriously feel no need to see LL being all affectionate. I accidentally caught the 'going to be bad' and almost threw up my lunch. Imagine what would happen if I'd watch a whole scene. I'd have to camp in my bathroom for days.

I somehow managed to sit through that, with a horror look on my face (didn't watch the preview). Lindsey was acting as though they'd solved the riddle of the century or something. Jeez. Major ick.

Anyways, about the long paus you guys mentioned after Haley's "you can't marry Lindsey", I'm pretty sure I've seen several "cliffhangers" on tv shows, where they leave us with a long paus but when the episode actually picks up, the pace is much faster. So Lucas might have been silent in 5.11, but will respond faster in 5.12.

I bet we won't see any of the carry over of the LH late night phone call . As I referenced in one of my posts a few threads ago I think it will be similar to Peyton in 320/321 when she was coming back to tree hill flashing back to jake , and how he got her to admit her feelings for Lucas were still there . So I see the LH convo coming up later , possibly 513 or 514 more like it when Lucas will flash back to Haley the same way Peyton did with Jake .

Also that LL bedroom scene is in the begginning I bet , Lindsey by this point has already read the book I'm guessing ( off screen ) and she probably thinks it's based on them ( LL ) and then later on she realizes it's about Peyton . OUCH !!! So much for writing their own chapter ....
