Question: Is Emilie de Ravin going to be back on Lost for the whole season or just a few episodes? And will we get to see what happened to her? —Jared

Ausiello: The answer to both of your questions is a resounding yeppers. Better prepare yourself though. My Lost mole says season 6 will showcase “a version of Claire we’ve never seen before — a Rousseau-esque version.” We’ll be in need of a Rousseau fix since the real version will be MIA. According to a Lost insider, the French Lady’s portrayer, Mira Furlan, turned down the show’s request to return for the final season due to a “prior overseas commitment.” Anyone know how you say “big bag-o-nuts” in français?

No, of course there won't be a Boone/Shannon episode. It's very unlikely that the dead characters will get centric episodes. It will just be the major characters.

Too bad Locke's episode is where we get to see his funeral.

There you go, it's Mira Furlan who turned the offer down. This wasn't exciting at all.

Well this show clearly has no issue with wasting time in an alternate reality, so it's really not that beyond the realms of possibility that they'd waste time on a dead character.

I forgot all about Mira Furlan for some reason.

And a Rousseau-esque Claire? That sounds uber creepy. But I suppose it makes sense as she was on that island and presumably on her own for 3 years. And like Danielle, she was also without her child for quite some time.

I know many people like Claire, but honestly, I have yet to see the point of her story. And if they make her crazy like Rousseau, that makes it even more useless in my book.

I've always liked Claire but I just felt they never did anything with her story, although they had plenty of opportunity to do so.

So does that mean he's coming back?

Did Maggie Grace already shoot scenes?

The poll on Dark UFO said it could also be M.C. Gainey. Was he Mr. Friendly? I doubt it's him. He always sings the praises of Lost and how he'd want to come back.

Maggie Grace had her bags packed and ready for Hawaii when they called. So it's not her. And I don't think it's M.C. Gainey either. He's good friends with Carlton and apparently knows how the show will end. I can't imagine he'd turn them down.
