Yeah I would love to keep Nate around in Season 3. Rip returning will definitely cause some issues.

As long as Sara is still the captain I don't mind Rip staying. He can be her first mate.

But there's 2 problems with Nate: he's too similar to Ray personality-wise (that's why they became bros) and with Rip presumably back, he won't really be needed (despite being citizen steel, what he really brings to the team is his history knowledge and time detective skills).

I don't even feel Nate brings anything to the team. They never needed him in the first season. He just doesn't contribute anything to me. I hate the bromance between Nate and Ray. The show totally replaced Mick/Ray with Nate/Ray.

I also hate the promo showing Amaya in bed with Nate. I wanted her with Mick.

Nate is just ruining all the relationships I liked on the show.

Isn't Amaya the present Vixen Mari's grandmother? Doesn't she have to go back to her time eventually?

She's her grandmother but who knows. If they want to keep her in the show, they will.

Well Amaya doesn't know she has a granddaughter who is another Vixen so it's not like she's aware her being on the waverider is putting that in jeopardy. Plus we don't know that one of the guys on the waverider isn't the grandpa

proty where did it show in the promo Amaya and Nate in bed together? I watched that promo at least 3 times and didn't see it...or maybe I don't want to see it because she's supposed to be with Mick

Amaya doesn't know anything about future family she is supposed to have. And maybe she had a kid already.

TPTB said Amaya is going to grow to love being a Legend and prefer it over being JSA. So I can see her staying even after RF is defeated.
