Since we know that Haley hears LP's conversation in Lucas's office. That would mean that she will also see Peyton crying when she will exit his office.

I want them to loose the game and no 409 flashback.

I would like it if they won the game, then you really get to see that even in Lucas' great days, he can't be truly happy.

And a 409 flashback is always nice.

Does anyone have a link to Peyton at her mother's grave in 508? I want to rewatch the scene.

yeah it was wrong to take it out on nathan i agree, but according to "I Have A Brain" (i think..) from the nhj thread the next episode starts out in bed where haley was overreacting to nathan because of what she saw with lucas/peyton and she apologizes and tells him why she made the rude comment. that obviously should have been in last weeks episode but you know, marks a jerk

tutormom that makes allot of sense and I'm glad she does apologize for it. humm if Nathan knows about the kiss I wonder how does he feel about it then?

God I think EVERYONE will know about the kiss but Lindsey. I just can't see Lucas telling her in the end. If anything I think Lucas will tell Lindsey after the wedding basically I think Mark has to bring Lindsey back for one more episode. As much as I can't stand her I love Lucas and Lucas will NEED to apologize to Lindsey for the mess he caused.

I see Lindsey too in her wedding dress, maybe this scene is taken from the episode 5.12

I hope Lindsey will not come back, but if she has to come back one episode is enough, too much!

I saw the Lindsey dreamlike thing too. I will bet it's from 5.11 or even 5.12. Maybe it's a Lucas dream where Lindsey morphs into Peyton in a wedding dress.

I see Lindsey in a wedding dress but I think her wedding bouquet is not the same she has in still from 512.

Rebecca, that's interesting idea about Lindsey morphing into Peyton. Maybe Lucas has a dream too.

That's why, ultimately, Peyton 'can' burn his book. She is just burning an object. She knows that everything he wrote, every black word printed on those white pages, had and will always have a significant and greater meaning. For her and for him. Something that can't be burned away or erased or painted over. From their mind and heart. It's unwavering, constant and consistent.

"It's always gonna be there, isn't it? You and me."

For Lucas, on the other hand, is different. Peyton was the object of his affection from the time he spied her through a webcam and running away with her car. That's why it's like he needs something tangible to serve as a constant and visible reminder that his love for her and the connection they share never dies, it just changes form. That's why he kept Peyton's things in a box, after she left him. That's why he kept Peyton's ring box, after he left her. That's why for him it became so important to publish his book about Peyton and tell to the world how much he loves her. This was also a chance to "see" her again and then go from there.
But from that day on, there hasn't been a single thing that went the way it was supposed to go.

That's why maybe he chose to write a story about a boy that waits to see his comet coming back to him, 'cause this is something that gives to his life a meaning.
Lucas wrote about the comet as a metaphor. He chose something intangible and almost invisible but yet he couldn't help to give her a concrete form. Peyton's car. One of the things she cares about the most. The broken car that made them met by chance. And that by purpose he told her he couldn't repair there, as an excuse to see her again. Something simple like to serve as a beginning point for their endless story.

That's why I think that ultimately, Peyton will accept that ring, because what matter the most to her is that it was always meant for her.
