The ratings aren't very good so they may have to change their decision if it gets worse.

They got the 22 episodes, they won't change that decision. If they wouldn't have been sure they would have ordered more scripts instead of episodes.

Also the ratings are not good but the 100 is doing the same, Reign is .1 in demo worse. TO is only just .1 higher. So that's four shows doing pretty much the same.
Since the WB likes to coddle it's CBS productions and my guess is the production costs are quite low compared to some of those other shows I'm even quite optimistic on it getting a second season.

Yeah. I know there was a lot of talk after the rating were adjusted down that the CW had been too quick to give it a full season.

But I am guesing they made that decision as soon as the first episode aired. It did better in that time slot than whatever aired in that time slot last season. It is also one fo the best reviewed new shows of the season. It would be embarrassing for them to reduce the order now after already promising the back 9.

Besides, we'll have to see how the ratings do on Monday. It was pre-empted in the Houston market on Monday which is why the ratings initially seemed like they went up. Football boosted the results and once football was taken out of it, the ratings dropped by .2. However, Houston is a significant market who may want to watch a show like this. If they had watched, perhaps the ratings would have been equal to the prior week which would be a win.

The repeat got the same .3 rating as the previous week's rerun.

Only two episodes and I'm loving this show. Jane running is weird and funny and her calling the baby the milkshake was hilarious. Should we keep calling the baby, milkshake.
