Actually, there was a spoiler (in TV Guide I think) that said something like "Wilson goes too far to please a patient"

EDIT: If he did this thing to save a patient, House would be all for it. Instead, it looks like he thinks it's a bad idea, so...

According to executive producer Katie Jacobs, Lisa gets her wish: "You're going to learn more about Cuddy before the season ends. Here she is, she's 38-years-old, she's head of the hospital, she's single, and she's going to start dealing with all the issues that surround that. There's a little surprise with her coming up toward the end."

I asked Katie Jacobs if House's addiction to the pills ever comes to a head, and she gave me this lowdown: "I think that's a very interesting question, because what happens over time is you sort of get numb to painkillers, so what will he do to further distract himself from his pain? Ultimately, he's going to have to sort of soothe himself in some other way. He will cross the line a little bit further in an upcoming episode, and we'll see how he handles that." Creator David Shore adds: "It reaches a point before the end of the season [in which] he succumbs to something. As the pain gets worse, he crosses a line you didn't think he would cross." David told me that House won't actually address the addiction this season, but that it's probably gonna be something they cover next year.

D.B. Sweeney guest-stars in the next all-new May Sweeps episode of HOUSE. A 16-year-old female Hurricane Katrina victim suffering from hallucinations about the tragedy is brought to House by his ex-bandmate Crandall (guest star Sweeney), who recently found out that the girl is his daughter. Despite fearing that his friend is being scammed, House takes the case, and as he works his way through the girl's lies to find clues to diagnose and treat her, he's forced to tell a few lies of his own. Meanwhile, Cuddy asks House to review two medical files, and it doesn't take long for him to figure out that she's looking for a sperm donor. House takes the search a step further and sets Cuddy up for a big surprise in the "Who's Your Daddy?" episode Tuesday, May 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

In the second season finale of HOUSE Tuesday, May 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), as House and his team are working on the diagnosis of Vince, a man with a giant, swollen tongue, disgruntled former patient Jack Moriarty (guest star Elias Koteas) walks into House's office and shoots him. House continues to treat Vince from his ICU hospital bed with Moriarty, shot by hospital security and hand-cuffed to his bed, as his roommate. When aftereffects of the shooting begin to impact House, he starts to question his own ability to properly diagnose. As Vince's body deteriorates, House must struggle through his self-doubt and trust his team to find a way to solve the case.
