Wasn't Belle's kingdom fighting the Ogres? Maybe that's why Belle sees him as a "hero": in this reality they still won the Ogre's war because of him, but they don't remember his magic. They just see him as a heroic Knight.

It's as the Dark One not Rumplestiltskin, the man. Which is why Rumple is such THE man in the EF. This is going to be very interesting AU world.

So where is the Dark One in this AU story? If it's not Rumple, where is it? Just...gone?

I am curious about Emma's and Hook's roles. I don't think Emma is just going to be "Red" to Regina's Bandit. She has to be rocking the dagger earrings for a reason. Is she a pirate? A merry woman? And I just can't see Rumple casting Hook in any kind of flattering light. He will probably be even in worse shape than Charming or Robin. I can see Hook as Nottingham over a fire in Snow's dungeon. Tink said her soulmate would be wearing guyliner but when they met, it was the wrong kind.

It's pretty curious to me that Emma & Hook's personas are a pretty big mystery. Even their clothes don't really give much away. No Hook promo pics but he is definitely in his outfit from The Crocodile which makes me think that Rumple might try to reenact the scene with Hook but Rumple comes out the hero ...

I kinda think that Emma will take up Charming's role? I definitely can see her as like a free spirit, defender.....but I love the idea of Pirate!Emma too

EQ Snow mentioned "the boy"

So I'm thinking...maybe Issac, to right his wrongs, his maybe...."matrixing" Henry into the new book y'know? Writing him in, and taking him out of various scenes so he can tell people they're basically in a lotus eating machine type deal?

I REALLY want to know how Issac probably has a heel face turn, and stops writing.

LC I think you are 100% correct. Rumple hates her even more than Hook.

Who was Hook fighting in the promo? Could it be Rumpling? (My name for Rumple/Charming).
