I hope this is what Shonda also wants. Right now I'm not so sure. With Megan's return the Merthan relationship is again on a halt. And Alex and Jo are still separated. I can imagine that this will bring Meredith closer to Alex again. But of course I hope it's just on a friendly basis.

Yikes. This season seems to have been a huge disappointment for fans.

Not for all fans. Mainly the fans who shipped a particular couple. I was a hard-core Greys fan years ago. That changed with all the disappointments. I still watch but I'm not obsessed anymore. But as a loyal Greys fan I have to admit that this season was not the best. And the finale was just a big explosion to leave everything behind in shatters.

always protect you agree Shonda writes friendships so deeply and heartfelt, but the romances are always where she likes to add the unnecessary and "shocking" drama that just ruins it.
