Happy Maggie won't be upset that Meredith is with Nathan. I think it will be more about the lying than the actual relationship.

I can't argue with you there, but I thought Maggie and dealing with her mom gave her character some much needed depth.

The only problem I had is that she behaved like a brat towards her mother beforehand, and I can't understand why she would be upset that her mother wanted to physically improve herself. So when she found out that her mother had cancer, it did not resonate for me because she was never shown to be getting on with her mother beforehand.

I also hate how Maggie driven the season is. I don't think she has earned it just because she is Meredith's sister.

She definitely annoyed me too. I just felt for her watching her try so hard to save her mom and then how abrupt she lost her too. It was really sad.

Yeah I would rather more focus on vet characters, but I wonder if they're trying to establish Maggie more to eventually lead the show. Meredith seemed to be displaced a lot this season.

It could be because Ellen has a new son and wants to spend time with him.

I honestly find it a little odd how quickly Maggie's mom died. I mean how much time are we meant to believe passed from when she was first introduced?

Unless she died because of the clinical trials. That would make more sense.

I saw it as the trials moved her death along. That's why they were all so against it and Meredith kept saying that the drug trials were killing her. Her cancer was the death sentence, but the clinical trial was the actual exicutioner imo.
